Donna You are just the cutest!! You always remember the important things that everyone has going on in their lives. I am just the pits!!
Put me down with the anti-green doughnuts group. Although Steve and I gave up sweets for Lent and even that green doughnut is starting to look good about now!!
It is so wonderful that Nathan made the travel team. I know that it will take up a lot of your time, but it can be so exciting. I love all sports (I even watch the curling championships on the Canadian channel) but basketball is so much more exciting than the average baseball game. Matt is done for the year. They held the District Playoffs at his gym last week and they were eliminated. But Steve and I have been following one of the other teams and hope to go to the State Semi-finals next week. This team is a VERY elite private school. Tuition at the high school level is over $28,000 per year. The team is very tall, very talented and really fun to watch.
Donna, did I read that we will have a chance to meet you and your lovely family at WDW this year? I sure hope so. That would be so wonderful!!
I talked to Brittany a little while ago. She was so excited. She has left for the airport now and will take off in about an hour. I am happy, excited and worried for her. It is such a great opportunity and the other family sounds so nice. It is something that I would have loved to have been able to do. But as a mom, I sure understand Lesa's worries.
YM I was so sorry to hear that your DS was injured and off sports for the season. That seems like the end of the world to a child. The young heal so much easier than adults so hopefully it will pass quickly. I hope he is not in too much discomfort.
I certainly hope you were not wearing the identical majorette costume as mine!! I will admit that I am terrible with the baton, can't tell you how many times that thing has hit me on the head!!
Linda I am so upset about your DH. I am praying that they discover that his problems all stem from side-effects of his medication. I believe that I am taking the same medication as he is to control nerve pain. I know that one of the possible side-effects is depression and even suicidal feelings. I also do not do well when put on any narcotics. I tend to cry over everything and nothing when on them. I hope they can work all of this out for him and still come up with some plan to manage his pain without sacrificing his enjoyment of life.
I'm sure that your hair looks wonderful. I too would love to see a picture of the new do.
I will skip the Nicholas Cage movie. Funny, I thought he was so great in Moonstruck but now I find him to just be creepy. But then, the movie industry would go under if they had to live on my support. The last movie that we went to see was the last Harry Potter movie in IMAX. I'm not good at sitting for that long. I much prefer to be doing something else while I'm watching a movie or TV.
I'm having fun with the NCAA tournament. I have basketball on from noon til 11:00. And I got all 16 right on yesterdays bracket.

I'm sure I will be brought down to earth today though. Sorry, but I don't have either Oklahoma or Louisville going all the way although I do really like both teams.
Michele was gone for a three-day scrapbooking weekend last week She said that she had a ball. I haven't seen much of her that past few weeks. She was really suffering with those headaches. But she couldn't miss work and was also committed to being at the school several nights with PTA stuff since she is an officer of the high school PTA. She finally went to the doctor for her yearly physical. He told her that he believed she had pulled a muscle in the side of her neck. It made sense to Michele since she had had such violent coughing spells while she was sick. Then, yesterday she got a message from her doctor that they had read the x-rays and it showed arthritis in the base of her neck. He want her on lots of vitamin D and pills to calm the inflammation. She kind of laughed about because she feels better. She has had Bree giving her massages in the evening. And of course, hugs from Lilly!
I should get busy cleaning. Our DD Melissa and grandson are driving here from Illinois to spend the weekend. I'm sure they will be happy to see Steve and me but let's face it, they are really coming to see Lilly. She is so much fun now.
Hi 2X2sleep hope you are doing alright and keeping yourself upright!! I sure wish you could get this house stuff finished. But then, I'm sure you do too!!
Take care of yourself please.
Lesa, keep your chin up, she will be home before you know it. Love you
