trying to plan for breakfast at Epcot but not having much luck. we're not much into pastries but enjoy a hearty breakfast - eggs, sausage, grits, fruit. any suggestions? thanks for the help! :flower3:

I don't think there are too many options in EPCOT for breakfast. We like Sunshine Seasons (QS) in the Land, they usually have eggs and mickey waffles and stuff. If you are looking for a TS you could try and reserve a breakfast at Akershus, we will be going there in September for the first time, well my first time, my wife has been there for breakfast before and it is a standard disney breakfast buffet from what I understand, but she likes it.

Some menus:

Sunshie Seasons:

Akershus

Another option would be the character breakfast (TS) at Cape May at the Beach club just outside epcot:

That is all I can think of.

As stated, there are few breakfast options in Epcot. An alternative is to eat a pre park opening breakfast at an Epcot Resorts area hotel or at Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk.
The Epcot Resorts area includes the Yacht Club, The Beach Club, The Swan, The Dolphin and the Boardwalk. Lots of restaurant choices there.
Good Luck

"Epcost". Freudian slip? Love it! :rotfl2:

I was hoping it was purposeful! I am totally adopting it.

There aren't many QS not carb-centric options. Sunshine Seasons has similar stuff to any food court (except the berry croissant bread pudding which is delicious). Personally, it isn't worthwhile to me to miss rope drop to go an Epcot resort (they are not going to let you walk through Epcot before RD without an Akershus breakfast ADR, but taking a taxi or driving for breakfast is an option). Are you considering Akershus too? It is good for what it is, but, unless princesses are any kind of priority, it is very expensive for what you are getting.

:thanks::wave2: Wonderful suggestions and I really appreciate the extra notes that help us make a decision. This will be the first time that DH and I are going to Disneyworld without kids! As much as we enjoy the character meals, we are not necessarily looking for them this trip. And, because we are early risers, that rope drop will find us at the front!

Didn't care for Sunshine Seasons - just thought the quality was pretty subpar. We do like Les Halles but the breakfast options are limited. What about an early breakfast at Captain's Grille at Yacht Club? It opens at 730 and has a breakfast buffet and a regular breakfast menu. You can get an early reservation then walk (5 minutes) to the back entrance of Epcot for rope drop. Trattorio on the Boardwalk also has a breakfast.

My vote would be to eat at Epcot resort restaurant just because we always do character meals for our kids as well, and I'm dreaming of the day DH and I can take a kid-less trip!

Inside the park, we often grab a breakfast platter at Sunshine Seasons. Outside the park, Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club is good quality, and for Disney, fairly low cost. We liked it a lot.
