We will be staying at Grand Cal Hotel for a couple of days over the Memorial Day weekend and would like to have a nice sit down breakfast for 2 adults somewhere non-park before leaving for the airport on Tues morning.

I noticed that the prices at Storytellers are about $7 more per person to order from the menu than a similar type meal at Steakhouse 55 or PCH grill.

Is Storytellers that much better? We don't mind spending the money if it is worth it! What would you do?

We have never been to Disneyland before and are looking forward to it!

Thanks,

Storytellers, Goofy's Kitchen or PCH Grill are the sit down places, White Water Snacks in GCH is more like a fast food place. I've never eaten at Storyteller's (my DD8 can't handle the smokey smell, it reminds her too much of our house fire a couple years ago) but we highly enjoyed our Lilo & Stitch meal at PCH. We also did Goofy's but we didn't have as much fun or enjoy the food as much.

Storytellers is more for breakfast because it is a character meal. If you are just looking for a good quality breakfast, with out characters I would try steakhouse 55. I haven't eaten there, but have heard great things about it. There are also a couple places in downtown Disney with good breakfast selections.

by the way, PCH Grill for breakfast is also a character meal. :) Both storyteller's and pch grill are menu OR buffet, which is kind of cool.

Steakhouse 55 has an awsome breakfast , quiet , nice room good service.

Personally, I love Storytellers. I think you can't beat the atmosphere - even without characters! The food is great - there is a range from kiddy style to more adult. I recommend the buffet because it's all you want to eat but tastes great. Also, anytime I have done the buffet (about 4 times) they have also brought Mickey pancakes and waffles without an extra charge so it worked out cheaper.

Have fun!

ETA: I just noticed you said 2 adults. I think Storytellers has a bit more of an adult feeling to it than PCH grill (but I've only stopped in there - never had a full meal).
