Breakfast at DL at 7 am?

Thanks to everyone for the excellent ideas. I'm going to do either Whitewater snacks or Mimi's.

I think either one will be a good choice for you - breakfast at an early time with no characters anywhere! Both places are very popular among DIS-ers.

If you're looking to stay on property, avoid characters, and eat at 7 am, then you might want to check out Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel (very close to where Goofy's Kitchen is). Most people think of this restaurant as a dinner place, and although I've never eaten breakfast there, the menu looks pretty tasty. They do open and 7am, but check out their prices and see if it fits your budget.

Not a huge breakfast but we did coffee (if you can call it that!) juice, fruit, yogurt and pastries at 7am at The Coffee House in the DLH one morning.

Really? I can't imagine anything more shockingly expensive than Storyteller's! I am still reeling over my 18.00 French Toast! OP, good call on skipping the character breakfast there. It was disappointing for us....oh, and crazy expensive for what you get....

Well for regular breakfast fare for 2 adults and 2 kids our bill was well over $100 to me that is super expensive....I'de much rather pay that and get characters with my meal but for IHOP it was ridiculous!!!

Yes, I think it was your bill I was thinking of that I referenced in my above post when I was explaining to amyamya that other DIS-ers had said this Anaheim IHOP is ridiculously expensive!! I knew that someone had mentioned their bill total and the number of people in the party at one point on some other thread, to show how expensive that IHOP is, and I think it must have been you that I remembered! Yep, that is crazy for an IHOP! And I think I said in the other thread that there is no reason to even eat there for that amount because you could get ALL KINDS of food inside of DLR for way, way less than that! I am surprised that IHOP does any business. If people actually thought about it, there are tons of meals they could eat in the parks or maybe even DTD that are so much cheaper than that!

I'm with you Sherry.... To make it even worse my hubby and I ate at a local IHOP about 2 weeks after that trip and our total was right around $20, what a difference and service locally was great, at DL IHOP not so much....
