Breakfast at Chef Mickey's or O'hana???

Which one would you choose and why? We have 3 kids ages 13, 10 and 6.

I can't compare the two, but we did enjoy Ohana's a lot! That was in 2006.

I would chose Mickey's..for me there are more food oprtions including fruit and MICKEY WAFFLES!!!

Oh, O'hana has the Mickey waffles too! The only difference I've seen CM's is buffet style and has Mickey & pals, and O'hana is family style and has Lilo & Stitch and I have also heard that Mickey sometimes makes an appearence. I just can't make up my mind!

Between the two, I'd go for Chef Mickey's. You get a huge selection of food, plus the fab five, plus monorails whizzing by every few minutes.

Much better food / food options / characters.

Then again, OHanas may be the only place to see Lilo and Stitch.

OHanas has a family style egg/meat platter, so if you dont like to serve yourself, you may like OHanas better.

I prefer Mickeys.

I can't tell you which to choose because they are both great. My kids, 7 and 3, want to go to both every year.

Chef Mickey's is buffet with tons of choices and great characters, and lots of fun and dancing. O'Hana is family style with great food, awesome juice and Lilo, Stitch and Mickey, and also lots of fun.

Food is great at both, though different from each other, so you may have to make your choice based on the characters your kids want to spend time with, and whether you prefer buffet or family style better.

I would also go with Chef Mickey's because it seems they have a better selection of food and the characters will always be the fab five.

We have only been to Ohana's. The food is wonderfull and he juice is lovely.
We got to see Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. The kids (9, 4 & almost2) loved it. So did I!!

Stitch is my fave and he gave me a great big hug

The characters seemed to be visiting the table all the time and even though it was fairly busy we got plenty of time with them.

They also give all of the kids shakers and get them to join in a dancing parade around the restaurant.

You certainly cant go wrong with Ohana's

I would pick Ohana's due to Lilo and Stich, as you can see the Mickey gang at other meals

Haven't been to either & have ADRs for both. Just wanted to say that I read on another post somewhere that you can ask for tonga toast at O'Hanas and they will bring you as much as you want. Havent' had that either, but the raves on here about it and the juice are making me want to go to O'Hanas for the breakfast!

I would pick 'Ohana. But then I haven't done CM. We did 'Ohana last year for breakfast for the first time on our last day and I just booked breakfast on our last day in Sept. I got an ADR for 11:50 (the are now open until 12)

Last year we had late ADR (11 a.m.) as well and it was great! We took our time. Mickey, Lilo, Stitch, and Pluto came around at least 3 times each as there weren't many guests left in the room.

The food was good. Our first waffles were good, the second batch was better-hotter. We all loved the POG juice and it's one of the reasons my DD8 wants to return. I gave my DM and DD the choice between PF and 'Ohana and they both picked 'Ohana.
