Well, I am a breakfast lover for sure :sunny: I've eaten Boma's at night - yummy! What is extra special about Boma's at breakfast? I know they have bobotie and frunch, what other ethnic foods make breakfast there a must do? Also, are the regular breakfast foods better than other buffets you have eaten? My family most enjoyed CP in MK at breakfast to date :goodvibes

I do like that special drink--and the Kenya AA coffee. Also, they usually have a fresh carved pork loin, which is a refreshing change from the usual.
Actually, I don't find it too terribly "exotic" as far as breakfast is concerned, and much of it is the usual suspects, prepared in the usual way.
We always do Boma breakfast at least once each trip..

Thanks for the responses :earsboy: I found out what I kinda expected and we may try the Boma breakfast anyway because I love breakfast and want to try the frunch :goodvibes

When we were there last month for breakfast the server started describing the breakfast juice, calling it a different name than frunch. I looked at him and said, you don't have frunch anymore..he just looked at me like I was crazy. I said..Frunch..don't you have frunch anymore..lol.

He said...yes, it is the same thing..we just don't call it that anymore.

We love Boma's for breakfast! :Pinkbounc

There is usually some sort of pork at the carving/grilling station. Ocassionally other meats. They also had some sort of egg/ sausage mixture with something else in it once.
The breads/pastries are the best I've had. Love the sticky bun things with pecans.
The Pap is basically grits, but a little different. I don't remember trying the porridge.

Hi,

Another vote for Boma @ breakfast! Nothing fancy but it's great!!!

Enjoy!

Thanks everyone!!! Now my only decision is when to go :flower: I can't decide whether to go on AK day or a day when it won't get in the way of the early morning rush! Decisions, decisions... :teeth:

I ate there on 3/5. Favorite breakfast buffet! Love the oatmeal, I went up for a second bowl (small). They have so many selections, including ham carved to order and eggs made to order.

It's quieter and less expensive than the character breakfasts.

We're going to be staying at the AKL in May when we go. We've got two days we haven't made PSs for since we plan on doing Typhoon Lagoon on one (whichever has the best weather):). Do PSs HAVE to be made way in advance for the breakfast buffet, or can you still get them relatively late, i.e. in a few days before or even the day before?

The breakfast was delish, but I would continue to go there for only 2 things: the frunch and their sausage!! I couldn't get enough of either!!! :)

I ate 4 breakfasts at Boma and they were great.........and I've only been there once! The food was great and the choices were the best we found at WDW.

:rotfl2: :rotfl: , Mickey Mouth!!! I'm sold :teeth: I want to talk DH into doing this breakfast on our last day before we leave so we won't have to rush through it to get back to AK! Maybe I can eat more than one breakfast that way too :rotfl: ;)

LuvN~Travel, I'm not sure how late you can score a PS. I always make mine pretty early. Good luck with it :sunny:
