Went into the main building at POR this morning, intending to use the food court, but the sound of Brahms' 3rd Racket being played from that direction steered me into the calmer precinct of Boatwright's Dining Hall. I ordered a glass of tomato juice (very good, didn't taste like it'd been poured out of an open can that had sat in a fridge since March) and the "Signature" Boatwright's Breakfast, consisting of eggs over easy, biscuit, sausage, and homestyle potatoes.

All the major players were done very well:

1) Eggs were fresh and cooked correctly (whites solid, yolks runny).

2) Biscuit tasted like a fresh biscuit, as good as you'll get anywhere.

3) Potatoes were perhaps a tiny bit underdone, but not unpleasantly so.

4) Sausage was really excellent.

If I have to find something negative, it would be that a $10 breakfast should come with butter, not margarine.

Service was quick and attentive, as breakfast service should be.

I would recommend Boatwright's Dining Hall for breakfast. Y'all.

Glad to hear it! We're going there in November and have a ADR for Boatwright's.

Can't wait!

I did Boatwright's back in 06 and enjoyed my food for breakfast. I am staying POR this time around November into December and will surely be doing Boatwright's again!
