I have a 9:25am res at Akershus for 2 adults 1 child- how is breakfast? what should I expect? how much $$$? Thanks- my daughter really likes Belle- is she usually the greeter? Do you still get a picture when you come in? When do I need to get there for 9:25am res? (this is in Sept)

I cant help with the money part because we always on the dining plan. But yes Belle is out front for pictures. The breakfast is the usual, waffles, eggs, bacon, etc.....

We have done the breakfast in Sept 2x and we always get there about 15 minutes early which is just fine.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Here is a picture to give you idea:

Here is my thread for 2011 buffet prices, and it will give you the price - the prices listed include peak season surcharge and tax (6.5%), so since you are going in September, which is non peak season, just take the price listed and minus $4.00/adult plus 6.5% tax and $2.00/child plus 6.5% tax:

As far as Belle being the greeter, she has been the greeter for several years now. We have attended this meal many, many times over the past 5 years. My DD has a wall full of photos, as Belle is also her favourite princess - LOL!

We have never attended for breakfast as we don't find breakfast to be worth it, but based on lunch and dinner, the food is a bit different and unique here, but as mentioned above, you'll see the typical breakfast foods. Check out the dining review board for photos.

As for what time to be there for a 9:25 ADR, arrive at least 15 mins before your ADR time, as mentioned above.. Remember, if you aren't in Epcot already, you need to get to World Showcase/Norway, so allow for that. There is always a big line up here for the meal, but it goes through to the podium pretty quickly.

Happy dining, Tiger :)

Akers us is both my and my girlfriend's favorite breakfast buffet. Although it's not fully authentic Norwegian like it used to be, the Norwegian breakfast items that they do have make it stand out from the rest of the buffets. Just the fact that they have smoked salmon and capers to make nova lox bagels makes me look forward to it. It's a lot smaller than some of the other breakfast buffets, but the food is always really fresh and tasty. I'm sure you will love it!

Princesses are great, picture will Belle was great, but we did not like the food at all for breakfast. We are going back to Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends.
