Hi Everyone!

We would like to plan an Early morning breakfast at AK at Tusker House.

But we also want to be there super early to jump on the Safari without a FP.

How does Morning EMH effect this? Do they have breakfast before EMH? Or just before regular morning hours?

Im thinking I should avoid Morning EMH hours.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Earliest breakfast time would be 8am. So if it's a day of EMH then park will be open to hotel guests at same time. I'm thinking you'd be planning this for an empty park for some cool photos.

Why not have breakfast with Donald after you have ridden some rides. You could even book for last breakfast time and then you'd have access to lunch items too!

I'm sure you'd get a good few rides in if you were there for park opening!

You know, thats a great idea!!! I hadn't even thought of planning for a later breakfast! Lol I just kept thinking, early, early, early!

I wonder if I should run to EE, then FP the Safari for right after or before breakfast?

This stuff stresses me out!

Def head to EE first! U could possibly ride it a couple of times depending on when you are visiting!

Have you checked out easyWDW dot com? Josh has cheat sheets to help take the stress out of planning!

I looked at his site but we are gong at the end of August. Those hours don't seem to be out yet?

NikkiMouse is right. If you get an 0800 breakfast on a non EMH morning you could get on KS with a minimal wait, but not on an EMH morning. If your ADR was for 10:00 - 10:30 on an EMH morning you could get in a couple of EEs, the safari, and one or two other attractions before breakfast. ( as long as you were at the gates before 0800)

The August dates aren't out yet, but the cheat sheets are great to help you plan your touring strategies for each park.

Yeah we waiting for those hours too!

If you look at last year's plan but look at the days instead of the dates. There should be minimal change when new hours are released.

Meant to add Cheat sheets on right hand side of page will help with touring plan no matter what day you are going to visit!

The more I think about it, I think Im better doing a later breakfast on an EMH day.

What is a cheat sheet for park hours?

Josh's cheat sheets are kind of an untouring plan. He has a PDF for each park, including maps, with strategies for making the most of your park day. There are also suggestions for prioritizing FPs. We've been using them for the past few trips. Less rigid than a timed touring plan; more of a guideline, if you like. You can find them on the right side of the main page, as NikkiMouse mentioned.

Ok great ty!!!! I will check out this site.

After my experience this August, I would recommend going on safari before your breakfast reservation!...Here's why:

The animals are most active, moving, and easy to view when it is cooler....In the morning, it was wonderful to go on the safari early!

We had fastpasses for the afternoon safari, and lines extended past Tusker House because animals had fallen asleep on the road paths. ALL vehicles were stopped, and they do not wake the animals, or interrupt their behaviors in any way. We waited over 40 minutes, and the lines (fp or standby) never moved, so the ride could not be enjoyed.

If it is a can't miss experience, don't risk going at animal siesta time!

Great advice. Im thinking I'm going to plan a 10 isn breakfast on a EMH day, and just book it to the safari and hopefully FP EE. :cool1: Wish me luck
