Just starting to book ADRs for Christmas trip & thought we might try to get the character breakfast at AK.

Has anyone done this - is it a good?

We have been to CP at MK many times & DH thinks we should change it this year!

Thanks

we were at Tusker House a few weeks ago - the food was the best buffet breakfast we did (we also went to CP and CMC) - although the characters were very rushed - which was a shame - but we would do it again without a doubt. Oh and we had donald, Daisy, Mickey and goofy. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We had breakfast at Donalds Breakfastosaurus and we found we were very rushed through and the food was not that nice this was our first ADR and i must say it did put me off we got our food, the charecters came out then the bill arrived on our table we had not even finished eating.
Maybe i just had a bad experience but i would not recommend it!
CP was lovely and so was the lilo and stitch at the Poly that was the best.
Have fun whereever you choose to go

We have always done Donalds Breakfastsarus and always found it to be very good value for money. We have an adr for the new Tuskar house Breakfast, and hope that it will be as good as the original Donalds breakfast. Breakfast at the Crystal palce in Magic Kingdom with winnie the pooh and Friends is lovely too.

Hey! My family and I did the Breakfastosauraus thingy and we loved it. We're all different ages and t'was great, even for my cynic teenage brother.

The staff were friendly and really funny and you get quite a lot of interaction with the characters.

We had breakfast at Tusker House in December last year and it was my favourite breakfast by far. Delicious :)

Hi!
Definately one of the best breakfast for food (animal Kingdom Lodge, being my favourite)
But even in this new location, the characters are very rushed here...Ive not felt this soooo much at others,

Just remember Buffets at Xmas will have a surcharge on.
Don't book thinking its prices now, It was about $4 surcharge last Xmas.
At Easter breakfast at Boma had a $4+tax surcharge $20.99 instead of $16.99
Dinner was $30.99 instead of usual $26.99
I won't pay it, they are expensive enough at normal prices. Only ate one meal onsite at Easter after they had dropped to usual prices.

Wayne - thanks for the reminder:(

I have an AP this year & was originally thinking of getting the DDE card but think that you can't use it at holiday times - so will be a waste of money.

I hope the extra money goes to the CM's but seriously doubt it. Just another money making scheme.

ps - how do you copy & paste :rotfl:

Just another test Wayne!!

Just noticed that holiday pricing starts 16th December! It will soom just carry on from Thanksgiving & perhaps rollinto Easter :lmao:

On the whole we will eat offsite - but I do like to book 4 or 5 ADRs for while we are there. Especially Christmas Day as it is so crazy :scared1:

Never made an ADR yet, just turn up and always got in. No way can I decide day before where we want to eat never mind months in advance.
Planning on eating at Boma when we stay at AKL in August, thats only onsite eve meal we will do I think.

Full list here for $4 surcharge dates if anyone wants to know. Goes on until 3rd Jan, day we come home so won't be eating onsite at Xmas.
