We are on the DDP and looking for a breakfast the morning that we depart. Which one would you recommend?

Cape May is a character breakfast and buffet. So it'll be busy and noisy, but the last time I was at Cape May (years ago!) the food was good.
Ale & Compass is a quieter atmosphere. You can get an entree and add on the buffet, or just get the buffet (I think?) The food and service are very good. Really depends on what you're looking for

Keep in mind that the "buffet" at Ale & Compass is mostly pastries, yogurt, cereals, etc. and doesn't include the usual full selection of proteins like eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.

Not used DDP there but I would think you could. Over 15 years since I used DDP and it was the old one. Am sure someone will know! Enjoy whichever you choose!

I've eaten at both Cape May Cafe within the past few years, and I found Cape May to be much less hectic, and the food was better. Ale and Compass was busy, and my server was so fast that she brought my coffee, and by the time I noticed there was no cream, I couldn't find her and had to flag some one else down. She did complain (a lot) that they'd given her too much to do.

I'd vote for Cape May, that last bit of real disney.

Years ago we had a server at garden grill that she sat down with us and told us her troubles about working and moving her mom to a new apt, etc. We were kind of shocked she sat to tell us her story. I mean I think we said "how are you" not "sit and join us"

Have you used the DDP there? Do we get the full buffet included with 1 TS credit?
This is all that cape may has, so that's what you would get.

Strictly from a value standpoint on DDP Cape May hands down. A&C, although delicious and my favorite breakfast on property, it would be a HORRIBLE use of a TS credit.

If you have kids or want the character photos go to Cape May. If you want a quiet and relaxed atmosphere go to Ale & Compass. We were there in December and our entrees were really good and it's like $4 to add the buffet. The buffet had biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt and assorted pastries. We really enjoyed it. We had a great waiter and quick service.
