Last trip to WDW we ate at Ohanas and my son fell in love with their bread pudding. It was great, I have to say.

Just planned a trip for Jan and may do Ohanas again but am wanting to try some other restaurants.

What other restaurants serve bread pudding that you are aware of?

Raglan Road in DTD has an excellent bread pudding :thumbsup2 Garden Grill also had an apple bread pudding while we were there in September. It was good!

I loves me some bread pudding. Boma dinner had amazing banana bread pudding with rum or vanilla sauce, Cape May breakfast has killer bread pudding...so doesnt 1900 PF breakfast. I hear fantastic reviews for Ragland Road bread and butter pudding but we have made it there yet

I love bread pudding too! :cloud9: You can find bread pudding at the dinner buffet at 1900 Park Fair in the Grand Floridian. It is also a character meal with Cinderella, the Prince, the stepmother and the stepsisters. Also, Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club has bread pudding with vanilla sauce at their character breakfast buffet. The characters when we went earlier this month were Minnie, Donald, and Goofy dressed in their beach attire. You can also find the recipe for the bread pudding from O'Hana on-line. I printed the recipe out but have yet to try to make it.

I just ate in Mexico about an hour ago. Bread pudding there was the best I have had so far this week.

They also have it at CP and Tusker house breakfast

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I'd love to hear more about your SAI experience. I'll be looking for your review. :flower3:

Boma has a bread pudding which is very different than 'Ohana but also very good.

I have to say I think Raglan Road's is the best I have ever had!

It comes just baked with 2 sauces to pour on, a vanilla sauce and a carmelly/butterscotch sauce. It is the rickest most decadent this and trumped all the other desserts at the table (far exceeding the chocolate one, and I am a chocolaholic!)

It is worth going JUST for the bread pudding

Crystal Palace had a really good bread pudding if I remember correctly.

And I know Wolfgang Puck Cafe does - or at least did, in May 2007. They had a "Bread Pudding of the Day" which my server told me was strawberry-chocolate chip. When it came, it was actually peach, but it was SO good!! Had an anglaise cream sauce, soooo good.

The bread pudding at Tusker House breakfast is really good.

Im on the deluxe plan. I have eaten so much in the past 6 days to the point where it is 9:00 and I am in the hotel room mostly due to not being able to move from being so full!

SAI...8 of us went. 4 adults/4 kids.

All adults loved, kids did not like. 2 A got the pollo rajas (something like that)..it was really good. Cream sauce with onions and peppers. 1A got steak, great too and other Adult got Mahi Mahi..loved it. We were served (by Hector..great guy!) Chips and salsa, then apps (empanada for me..it was OK) then entree, then dessert. I had the best bread pudding. Hubby got flan..loved it. I didnt pay attention to other 2 adult desserts. By this time, I was about to burst!

Ambience was beyond dark. Kids got coloring pages...couldnt even see it. We joked about BIL eating steak. He could not see plate at all! But said it tasted like steak and was really good. We were lucky to have a big table (by water) with 2 lanterns..I cant imagine only 1 lantern.

Kids did not like their choices. Chicken quesadilla or ham and cheese melted in a wierd roll. 1 CH is a vegetarian..he got rice and beans..didnt like. 2 CH got the quesadillas..did not touch. The other got the ham and cheese...did not touch. I took a bite of each.. yuck! They did like the ice cream at the end, but all other restaurants to date gave choco sauce and sprinkles on the side. This place just gave a scoop of vanilla..nothing more.

Sorry for the bad typing and abbrevs. I cant get used to this laptop keyboard in the room. Trying to type as little as possible before cursor jumps to the middle of the screen and types over something else I already wrote.

If I recall correctly, bread pudding was one of Walt Disney's favorite foods, so during some celebration or another a few years back (Walt's 100th birthday, maybe?), all of the restaurants came up with their own variety. For a bread pudding lover, it was heaven.

But of course, none of them were as good as my bread pudding....

oh really? I think you need to make us all some and we can judge for ourselves :rotfl2: :lmao:

I have to agree with those who mentioned Raglan Road. Definately the best bread pudding I have EVER had. I didn't even like it before I tried my DH's there :goodvibes . I would eat at RR just for the bread pudding.
