I use a fairly recent Breadman, the TR875, I chose it because of the reviews on Amazon, the fact that it has a whole wheat cycle, and that it makes a 2# loaf. The different crust darkness feature is an addl plus. My biggest suggestion however is no matter what machine you have, my favorite cookbook is The Bread Lovers Bread Machine Cookbook. Right now it's just $12 on Amazon, and I highly recommend it. It has all kind of recipes from white bread to beer cheese bread, to fruit and nut breads etc. I get inspired just flipping through it.

My brother bought me one at an estate sale for $1....they go really cheap at thrift stores too. Saw 4 in a store the other day. Also, a friend bought a new one in box at Goodwill for $10. That being said ...I make sourdough bread and pizza dough so only use the dough cycle. First rise in the machine and take it out , knead and in loaf pans for second rise.

I don't see it mentioned so far, so I'll suggest using your breadmaker for cinnabon's. There is a great recipe on Allrecipes: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Clone-of-a-Cinnabon/Detail.aspx. These are really good, pretty easy and such a treat if you have guest staying over.
