Bread at Disneyland Comments

On the DLR show, Tony mentioned his dislike of the bread used for Disneyland sandwiches. I just wanted to point out that the bread used on the sandwiches that are included with the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour (fabulous, btw) was incredible. Both my friend, Christine, and I commented on how good it was as we both had a honey wheat type with ours. I'm not exactly sure where these sandwiches come from (I have some guesses), but I'd love to see this in the other eateries.

Your description sounds similar to the bread that I had for my sandwich at Cafe Orleans. It was a honey wheat type of sandwich roll. It was soft and moist, without being too "bready." I love a good sandwich, but have stayed away from them at DL because of the awful bread, so I hope this is a sign of good things to come in the world of DL sandwiches.

Okay - so there is another good thing out of the bakery to report - I was so shocked....

Normally the cupcakes suck rocks. Sorry Jean Marc, if you are reading this, but it's true.

Not the Holiday special Nutty Caramel Apple Cupcake!!!!!

Pumpkin buttercream frosting, with big hunks of apple and stuff. OMG. Time to go do that interview I've been putting off - just to get down to the bottom of this!!!
