Brazilian (Brasilian)Tour Groups

Can anyone tell me exactly when the Brazilian tour groups arrive at WDW? I remember it being around July or so. I want some of my family members who have never been to WDW have a great experience. Not that there's anything really bad about the tour groups that pass through WDW, but I know how frustrating in can be when your standing in line with your family and right before you stands someone holding one of those flags and you know what happens next. An entire group will just bust in front of you and not even a courtesy is given.

As a former employee I remember how we trained to deal with this issue - NOTHING!, just grin a bear it basically. That's because of Disney's hospitality rules on accepting other cultures differences we learned during orientation training.

Ya know.. I hate to stereotype groups but I have had more than one bad enocunter with this group. Thank god my hubby can get by in several languages.... We encountered them in late summer one year.

OMG that wasn't even funny...lol. I'm glad I'll miss them. My family is traveling there the last week in June, and hopefully the Star Tours weekend will be there in 2008 as well. My brother is a Star Wars freak! and July2 is my 6yrs old niece's birhtday and I would like to celebrate in at MK Crystal Palace

No matter what time of year I've been - I always see at least one group or two. However, there are a ton of groups in late July/August. Its around their winter break time down there so thats when they come up.

I was there 30th June - 3rd July this year and there were already several groups then. One thing I noticed tho is particularly at MGM they all went straight to RNR and TOT first so the rest of the park was pretty empty until lunchtime!

We were there mid July and counted at least 15 flags with us at Fantasmic. It was crazy!

Well I guess I'll just hope and pray there's not many there at that time when we go. It's funny how a lot of people know about this and can relate to this experience

You know what's sad is, my family's favorite resort is ASMovies. For the past 2 years with our 6 year old being in school, we go in the summer now. We no longer stay there because of the tour groups. They were so obnoxious last July, we'll only stay at Moderate or Deluxe now at that time of year.

We were at Disney around January 22nd this year and there were tour groups around! Probably not as bad as July, but they were still there.

Yep. There are some in February when we usually go as well - though the only place we ever see them is at Fantasmic where they chant for several hours before the show as though they were at a futbol game.

We were there the first week in June and surprised to see so many Brazilians that early in the summer!

They were there in July and there were a ton of them!..I have never had a problem with them before but this year they were sooo bad! ASMo is our fav. resort but after this year I decided I will not stay there again in the summer! It is sad..

Hi!

Just to let you know I've been to the World during the months of April, June, July, August, & December and I've always see them in the parks. I try to keep an open mind and not let anything bother me while on vacation, but darn those kids can be annoying!

Thanks! We love pirates so it was so right to have done our town mascot is the Pirates!! I'm sending it out with the christmas cards

We were there in late July/early August 2006 & didn't see any in the parks. We didn't see them at our resort, either, but we stayed at Poly.
