Hey all im new here and I have one question. I am moving to CA in a few weeks which means Disneyland will become the closest park to me (I live in NJ now and only have been to Disney World). Is Disneyland as fun as Disney World? I hear it doesnt compare...

to the dis. I would go to DL as much as possible if I lived there wether it was as much fun or not. That doesn't mean you still can't go to WDW too. I've never been to DL because I can't stop going to WDW so much that I can't squeeze in a DL trip but I want to go there sometime.

DL is not WDW. That's for sure. But DL is a lot of fun. If I lived near DL, I'd go a lot. There are rides at DL that aren't at WDW (such as the Matterhorn and Indiana Jones ride). We were only able to go to DL for one day since we were in LA visiting my DBF's brother. We want to go back and spend about three days there if we ever get the chance. I'd always make a special trip to WDW, though! DL is a three or four day visit...I could visit WDW for a month or two!

WOW, That's a loaded question!!! Both WDW & DL have their pros and cons.
When I was in CA we absolutely loved California Adventure! But Magic Kingdon & MGM will always be my personal favorites.
