Yes, definitely say "hi" it's myself and DD10. She's a lot older now than in the pic in my avatar, she comes to my shoulders now. I'm pooh sized and she has dark curly hair. I faxed our request yesterday. We are hoping for either Casistas 4 or 5 or Cabanas 8A. We'll just cross our fingers together that we both get what we asked for. :thumbsup2

We requested Casitas 5, so we may see a lot of each other. If you see a mom, dad and son who are all about the same height (I wear glasses) say "Hi". We're celebrating our 30th anniversary, so we may have our anniversary pins on... :goodvibes

Lovin' your pics. Thanks for sharing. Which Casistas is that?

Isn't it great? It makes me almost feel like I'm there! :cool1:

Yup. You're right. Gorgeous pics ya'll have over here. I'm gonna need a box of Clairol by the time hubby gets home from work if I don't make this decision already! :scared1:

Enjoyed a fantastic stay at CSR May 28-June 1 and will share a few thoughts

Upon arrival, loved the welcome right from the friendly CM at the gate, to Philomena at check in. Philomena and I had about a ten minute chat after I was checked in. You can tell the staff love it here.

I can see why - gorgeous & classy, this resort is breathtaking!

SOOOOO happy to have been granted request of CABANAS! Room #8660 in Cabanas 8B, WOW, loved it!!

Room was spacious, elegant and exceeded expectations, just wonderful

View was of the courtyard, however, the lake could be seen by looking to the right

Location was right by the quiet pool and the laundry, I love being by the laundry! I love having clean clothes! :rotfl:

Dig Site pool complex had everything! Amazing pyramid, Huge pool & hot tub, kids pool, kids playground, sand volleyball court, you name it. And Siestas was so cool! So enjoyable to spend an afternoon at the main pool complex.

Seeing Glen at El Centro was neat, almost felt like seeing a star!

By far, my fave part (as KatMark can appreciate) was spending a few hours
(Yes, HOURS) lounging in MY hammock

Photo009.jpg

Wait! Those people are getting too close to MY HAMMOCK!! Ack!!

CSR has a new fan, will definitely stay here again and CABANAS all the way!!

Honey, join the crowd. I've been coloring my hair for the last 15 years...but then I have two boys--ages 23 and 21 and that is my excuse!

HA! I went gray 10 years ago. My step son is 23 and step daughters are 21, 16 and 14. AND we have a nine year old who thinks she's going on 21. Sigh.

Drinking helps. :rotfl2: Alot.

So you recommend Casitas 5, I take it? Will you allow me to sit in, er, touch YOUR hammock? If I decide to stay at CSR, that is...:rolleyes1

Yes, I love Casitas 5. And ALL of my CSR family and those who are fearful of change are welcome to use my hammock.

Isn't the Cabanas the best? Still debating for next year, though......cabanas or casitas? cabanas or casitas....

I can't answer that...we've never stayed Cabanas (we were going to try it this year). I think Cabanas is more centrally located for everything, but I think the Casitas are the prettiest.

Aw, you guys are babies!!! My DD is 37  and DS would have been 36 this December - how is it possible I have children that old?? And when I had them I was considered old at 24!!:confused3

Anyway, let my hair go silver/white 2 yrs ago...hairdresser LOVES it (it's still baby fine and silky), but I'd foil it again in a heartbeat if it didn't cost $250 a shot. :faint:

Anyway....

DearDaisyinDurham, I want that room! What a great location and view! And your Guard Duck is a keeper! :)

So glad you had a great stay...thanks for the review and esp the great photos! :flower3:

I think Casitas is prettiest, but love the tropical feel of the Cabanna's and even like Ranchos!! LOL

Oh my God...I loved your review. You had me laughing and in tears (missing my CSR). I LOVE the Guard Duck--that is great! :woohoo:

Can I copy and paste your pictures in our CSR photo thread? Or would you like to do that yourself? Just let me know.

I am SO SO happy that you loved CSR. You made my weekend!

Great pics everyone. Thanks! I am so bummed we could not find Glen on our trip. Guess we will just have to go back next year!!

Hi Kathy,
I'm so happy that you enjoyed my little (and wee bit LaZy) review. You are so kind & helpful, it's truly my pleasure to bring a little CSR back for you. :goodvibes YOUR hammock will be awaiting you upon your return!

I regret that I ran out of time, to stroll thru the Casitas at night as I adore the pictures of the fountains...but that's what "next time" is for!

I'd be pleased to have you copy my pics, they're not the best, just taken w/ my phone....DH offered to give me a camera tutorial but :rotfl2: I wanted this trip to be stress free :rolleyes1 not worrying about losing his camera
(hey maybe I picked it out but I don't have the patience to learn how to use it!) :rotfl:

Thanks for posting all the great pics of CSR. I am now even more excited about our upcoming trip :cool1: If that is even possible!!!! :lmao:
