Just sharing my last minute excitement. My flight leaves in 3.5 hours

And here I am, just checking in case anything came up that I might have missed.

You can bet I'll report in when I get back! Have a great week!

Ahhhhhhh, just had to share something!!

I just got off the phone with Disney and rescheduled our original ressies so that we could take advantage of the FREE DINING.
Had to bump us up by 3 weeks, and I had to book a water view room because they didn't have standard, but I saved us $960!!!

So they new travel dates are:
9/26-10/2
CSR Water view
FREE DINING!!!

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Well I did it booked free dining at CSR, and requested cabanas 8A.

Thanks you Kat!!Thanks you Thats nice. For the Picture.

That's nice. I was trying to read your report, and it is not loading for me. :confused3

from our 4th stay at CSR!

This time we were in cabana 8A as requested and we loved the new room and location!

Our biggest disapointment this trip was the Pepper Market - what have they done to it :sad2: The portions were smaller than ever and the number of choices were reduced. They used to do 3 types of pasta and 3 sauces and you pick any combo. They now only have one of each :sad2: and you don't get as much - DH & I could easily share this and both be full but not now. They have also changed from the nice thick cut steak fries to the generic thin fries

We have gone from making a point of eating there to now we would rather just eat in the park. And the kids meals are so over priced - my DD was having meals in the parks for $5 which I didn't mind paying as I knew she would eat it all (she is only 9mths but likes 'proper' food) but they want $7+ at the PM which I just wasn't going to pay!

Also does anyone know if Pat still works at the PM? She may be slow but she always took the time to ask how you were and what you had been doing (unlike some of the other PM employees!) - we looked for her a couple of days but didn't see her.

After these posts, now I have a question about the bus stops...

The bus stops at CSR are covered & there are places to sit while you wait.

Here is a picture of bus stop 4, right outside of the cabana section!

This may be ridiculous, but how do you board the busses? What if there are tons of people there? Are there separate sections/stops for each park? I know there are several bus stops around the resort, so will the busses be full by the time they get around to your stop?

Sorry, but we've only been once and we stayed at Pop where there is a roped line for each park. There's only one stop, so you know if you're in the first half of the line that you'll get on that bus. We had a great experience with the busses at Pop. The stops were in the sun, but the lines were orderly and we never waited more than 5-10 mins.

I know you won't see this as you are in the air on your way, by now, but just had to say have a fabulous trip!!

:goodvibes:dance3::yay::woohoo::goodvibes

It looks like Casita 4 will not be rehabed by the time we arrive. This was our first choice for a section. If these rooms have not been rehabed, what other building would you suggest?

Thank You in advance.

Awesome. If our trip doesn't get cancelled, we'll be there part of the time you are there!!!!

Oh, poor plants! I didn't have any luck planting them up here in New England a few years back - I was so disappointed. Hope your weather warms up and stays warm. :sunny:
They've been replaced for a the most part and are starting to bloom. I checked for you when I was out delivering the express checkouts and dme notices in 9B.

If you want to be in the Casitas, you could ask for the 4th floor of Casitas 1, 2 or 3--they've been rehabbed. Or Cabanas 8B has been rehabbed and a lot of people like that spot.

Glad you loved the new room and the location. :goodvibes

Sorry about the Pepper Market. I've heard that a couple of times now. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that there is a rumor that they are going to turn it into a buffet. I don't blame you for not spending $7+ for your DD at Pepepr Market...I wouldn't have either). DH and I usually only eat there two meals a trip (we usually eat at the parks). I think if our trip stays on that we'll just get something quick from Cafe Rix for breakfast and eat it by the lake and use our counter services at the parks.

The previous poster answered about the bus stops. As for the rooms, they will be completed October 09. As of now, all of the Cabanas are done; Ranchos 6A and 6B are done and the fourth floor of Casitas 1, 2 and 3. That leaves Ranchos 7A and 7B, Casitas 4 and 5 and the remaining floors of 1, 2 and 3. They are supposed to start on Casitas 5 soon.

In about 2 weeks, the rehab should start up. And they may be doing Casitas 4not 5.

There are not separate sections for each park. When a bus arrives for a park, people will start to form a line to get onto the bus. If a bus is full, then it skips any remaining stops and heads straighter for it's destination. Since there are 4 bus stops for Coronado, they don't tend to get too crowded. If there is a crowded one, it's Bus Stop 1 in the morning.

Thanks for the info.

I was just picturing a bunch of people pushing and rushing to get onto the bus if they're not in a line.

Thanks for the info.

When we were there in March the only bus stop that was busy was stop #1 @ El Centro. Keep in mind that not everyone at the stop is going on the same bus. Everyone was very polite and I had DD2 and a big stroller. Not once did I feel pushed out of the way or that I was going to get run over. We had a rental car that we used to goto dinner ressies but we used the busses everyday to goto the parks.... and we loved the busses!!!:)

It's taken three days, but I've read this entire thread. Thank you for the great information, the majority of my questions have been answered already. I have two remaining. One is about what the buildings look like. I recognize El Centro and the convention center and the Casitas (which we've stayed in). Externally, though, I can't remember what the Ranchos and the Cabanas are like. I've looked through the pictures, but can't identify them. Maybe we never walked over there last time.:confused3

Second, can anyone else share what their walk times were from the Rancho or Cabana Buildings? Someone else posted that from Casitas 4, it took them 5 minutes to the main building and 8 minutes to the pool. Those are the main two points I'm looking for.
