Combination pleasure and convention but it's still a stay at CSR. The convention sponsors are taking everyone to Epcot for a dessert/illuminations event - they seem to like wdw too!

thank you for all the great info on this thread! We were debating between this and POFQ but the queen beds were the deciding factor for us.

Hi, Amber! to the DIS!

We have family in Indianapolis and it is definitely as humid as Florida! Awful!

Just remember to go early, leave the park by noon (or whever the heat begins to get to your family), go back to CSR for a swim and R&R .....then return to a park early evening. It will make a huge difference and less likely for anyone to have a meltdown (munchkins or adults). I say this all the time, but it is so true: think of WDW as giant Hot Fudge Sundae...small bites means you will not get sick!

Enjoy the morning EMH at the parks, but try to avoid the evening ones as it will still be hot, humid and very crowded. Visit a park the day after the EMH and it will be much lighter crowds.

When you walk from attraction to attraction, when possible, walk through the shops to cool off.

How long does it take to get to Epcot riding the bus from CSR?

Hollywood Studios - Bus Stop 6 (1st stop) - 6 min ride once leaving resort
AK - Bus Stop 8 (middle) - 6 min ride once leaving resort
MK - Bus Stop 10 (1st) - 10 min ride once leaving resort
Epcot - Bus Stop 7 (2nd) - 7 min ride once leaving resort
BB - Bus Stop 6 (middle) - 3 min ride once leaving resort

If your staying at CSR and a convention is going on, is it very crowded? Or is it just like any other resort?

Every visit of our seven there has been at least one convention going on. We have never had a problem with the convention people. You will probably see them walking around in the morning on their way to their meetings, you may see them at the Pepper Market at lunch or at one of the bars at night. With them being there, it really does leave the pool and the buses emptier.

Can I call like a few min to 11 and still get pizza delivered? or do I have to call by 10 or 10:30?

I love ordering Pizza after a long day at the parks
