We have requested a Cabanas room for our Oct trip this year.
In 2004 we stayed in Casita 5 and the bus service was amazing. Empty when we were picked up in the mornings (and most of the day really) and always the first ones off the bus upon return to the resorts.

For those of you who have stayed in the other two sections,Cabanas and Ranchos, did you ever encounter crowded buses when being picked up at the resort?

We would like connecting rooms and would love to be in the cabanas section.

We've only requested a certain section -- Casitas 4 or 5. I would just put on there that you would like to request the Cabanas section with connecting rooms. You don't want to put too much information or ask too much. Good luck, and you are welcome!

Yes and no. If they are being converted to a king room, they may not have them. HOWEVER, Ranchos 6A is completely refurbished and Ranchos 6B is being worked on now and should be done the end of this week or so. Therefore, all of the rooms should have the two queen beds by the time you get there would be my guess.

I believe pole fishing is only available at Ft. Wilderness and PORiverside.

I haven't, but plan on trying it on April 25/26 for check in on the 27th.

I did for my arrival on 3/1. The CM that checked us in told us we were her first online check in. There was no special place to go just the 'normal' line. But all our info and room # were already in the folder that she had for us. It went very fast.

When I booked I requested (in this order) Cabanas 9A, 8B, 8A. We ended up in 8B. It was a refurbed room. All the double bed rooms have queens now even if the room wasn't totally redone. I know all the Cabanas rooms are finished. Search this thread I think Kathy has a list of the buildings which are done. I hope this helps.

You can do the guided fishing experience at Coronado. We don't allow people to just rent poles and fish (that's property wide). You have to be with a cast member inorder to fish and therefore needed to book the fishing experience.
