Hey all!
Getting ready to leave on a Disney trip next week and hoping you guys can help me brainstorm some things.
We're flying down Wednesday night (19th) and staying at a hotel off of Disney Property that regrettably doesn't have a hotel shuttle. Why did I book this? I don't remember, but it was non-refundable and now I'm stuck. hah! We're going to Magic Kingdom on Thursday (20th) and doing the halloween after party. Friday morning (21st) we head to the port for our 3-night Wish Cruise. Then we'll fly back home out of MCO on Monday.
What I'm trying to sort out is what is the best way for us to get around.
When I tried to book uber ahead, it was going to charge $95 for a ride from the airport to the hotel. Even the hotel concierge said this sounded high and that it should be closer to $40-$60. She suggested not booking ubers ahead of time and said they never have an availability problem.
If rides to the hotel, to the port, and to the airport are that pricey, it makes me wonder if it's worth renting a car for the trip is worth it? I know parking at the port is $17 a day, including embarkation and debarkation. Are there other parking options available near the port? I've only parked at the port once and so it's outside my knowledge zone.
Hoping any of you might have some insight while I'm online doing my research on it tonight.
