I have become one of those people who can no longer think about my ADRs. I am just NOT into it this trip and I have to call tomorrow am.... Help!

We are 1 meat lover, 1 vegetarian, 1 child who hates Disney pizza. We have park hoppers...

I need 1 MK table service dinner... 2 Epcot dinners or lunches... 1 Nonpark ADR late Dinner after Universal...

I have these choices left on my list of new places we have NOT tried:
Nine Dragons
Biergarten
Marrakesh
San Angel
Teppan Edo
Chef Mickeys
Ohana
Kona
Hollywood and Vine
Beaches and Cream

None of these are screaming visit me, pick me! :rotfl2:

We ARE visiting:
Sci-fi
Tusker House
Sanna
Tony's

Give me a good reason why I want to pick one of these, I just cannot get excited about this trip right now.

We like Kona at the Poly. It's easy enough to take the monorail to TTC and walk to the Poly from there so you could do this on an Epcot day. We also like the Corel Reef at Epcot.

At the MK, none of the table service places really "wow" me. If you're interested in a character meal, Crystal Palace is fun... food was okay, but character interaction was good. (Though it has been several years since we've been there).

For a non-park restaurant, maybe try one of the restaurants at Downtown Disney. Wolfgang Puck Cafe is our favorite of the DD restaurants. Another favorite non-park restaurant of ours in Boma at the AKL. (You mentioned you have a vegetarian in your party... we've done several trips where someone in our party was a vegetarian, and they always say Boma was one of their favorites because of all the vegetarian choices).

Hope that helps!

You could do Ohana as your MK choice because it's so close and easy to get to. I've been hearing that Teppan Edo is fun. I'm not sure if either of these have vegetarian choices. Where are you staying?

Last trip we had DH, me, (I wanted good food - not standard WDW Burger), DS/picky, DD1/very picky and DD2/newly vegetarian.

H&V was the only choice I could find at DHS for everyone....we thought it was fine although others on here don't care for it...Buffet had something for everyone...

Teppan Edo and The Castle are "Family Traditions".

BC "Cape May Cafe" - buffet as well - something to please everyone....we've been there last 3 times...and we like it...

Beaches & Cream - I don't think you can get ADR's for...there's another blog on here that is covering that...

"Ohana - we love the breakfast there.....That's a ton of fun.

Here are the CS choices I made....MK: Cosmic Rays, HS: Sunset Market (near ToT and RnR), and Epcot - Sunshine Season in The Land.

Have a great time!
Mary

I would choose the following.

Chef Mickeys
Ohana
Kona
Beaches and Cream

I read the title of this post--- thought it was Brian Fred- and wondered who the heck he was?? I guess I am a little brain fried too:worship::worship::rotfl2:

You can't make ADRs for Beaches & Cream; it is strictly walk0up, first come, first served.
Of the places on your list, we have eaten at Biergarten and Marrakesh and San Angel Inn. We didn't care for any of them and probably wouldn't rush back.

We thoroughly enjoyed Biergarten. If you like German food, then this would be a good choice. If you don't like German food, then you may not like Biergarten. For us, it is on our short list of places to eat on the next trip. I love German food, dh loves German beer. And the entertainment is fun.

I think you should do Chef Mickey's and maybe Hollywood & Vine because buffets would be good for people who have very different appetites. Though maybe not H&V because that's in DHS, and you didn't mention needing a place to eat there.

As a meat lover myself, I really look forward to 'Ohana, but even though there are things for vegetarians... noodles, veggies, bread... those are not the main focus. The meat is the main thing there... though if the vegetarian in the family loves the thought of the bread pudding dessert, maybe you would consider it.

Biergarten is another good place for meat lovers, and I think they had quite a few veggie & potato dishes, fresh fruit, breads, and a dessert selection. It might be a good consideration as it is a buffet... and you're looking for two Epcot restaurants, so this might be good as one of them. Again, especially with children, buffets are nice... kids can be picky, but with good variety, you're bound to find something for them to enjoy.

Really, I don't think you'll be disappointed wherever you end up... people report great dining experiences everywhere.

And I doubt this will be your last trip. Just check off some of those restaurants from your list this time, with the intention of trying some of the other ones on your next trip! At least you've narrowed it down!

We tried Kona and 'Ohana last year - I thought Kona had better food than Ohana but no atmosphere (fine for adults but nothing exciting for kids). Ohana has a fun character breakfast with decent food. Goofy was a little rambunctious, however ;)

Aforementioned vegetarian agrees. I might suggest Beaches and Cream. Vegetarian options are kind of limited to a veggieburger there, but the bun and fries made up for it. Plus, you can get flavor shots in your Coke. :) Another one (stay with me here) might be Le Cellier for Epcot dinner-I LOVED their squash ravioli in '07, so I'm thinking the porcini would be good. My pescetarian mother loved her salmon there as well.

Okay, here are my ideas:

MK: Crystal Palace. It isn't on your list so I assume you have been in the past. But with the differing tastes in your group a buffet might be best.

Epcot: Teppan Edo. I have never been but have read many good reviews. The show is supposed to be quite fun for kids. No chance of pizza here and I think you can get a vegetarian option too.

Epcot: Coral Reef. Just because we liked it.

Non-Park: I would go with either Ohana or Kona. Kona gets many rave reviews. Or if you want something a bit more "Disney" Ohana sounds great.

Hope you have a great trip!
