Does anyone have any experience with the Bradford Exchange? Trying to decide if they should be on my Christmas list.

I have purchased from them in the past. Items are of good quality and as described. Be careful of the fine print though. Some items get you enrolled in a subscription which takes while to stop. They don’t make it easy to figure out how to unsubscribe.

Thank you for the heads up, that's good information to know going in.

You get what they say you get. But watch out for those subscription required things. And the value of the vast majority of the "collectors" items goes down and stays there. It is the rare item that appreciates.

DH bought me a mother's ring from Bradford Exchange. It has my two sons' birthstones and names engraved in the band. It's kind of funny because I guess it was actually under the category of "couples ring." DH didn't like any of the mother's ring designs with only two stones so he ordered that one instead. Now we get personalized ads in the mail for my sons as if they were a couple. The ads say something like, "Son's name and Son's name, your love is special! Celebrate it with a new piece of jewelry!" The boys hate it when those ads show up, especially my older guy. He's like, "He's my brother! Not my boyfriend!"

As for the quality of the ring, it's just OK. The stones are kind of small and dark (sapphire and ruby). The website made them look larger and lighter. I still want to get a better quality mother's ring someday, so I guess that says something about the one I have.

If I got anything it would be because I love it, and want it in my home. So whether it's ever worth more or not isn't a factor for me.
