Brace Face!!!!!

Well if you do, do you get made fun of like Brace Face, Metal Mouth, or the common one Do you get Cable with those Braces????..........Well I do sometimes and I hate it but I learn to just annoy them But are yours very expensive............ Mine are $4,945.26 and How long do you have to have them on..... I think I only have to have mine on for a year but idk......So jus tell us bout your Braces Expierence cuz mine SUX

I got my braces off a few months ago; I had them for three years.

It feels SO good to have them off. Now I have a permanent bottom retainer and I have to wear my top retainer at night. It's a pain, but I don't want to get braces again.

I had braces. Nobody made fun of me for them. A lot of kids get them at some point.
I'm pretty sure all braces are expensive, in the thousands.
Good luck with them and try not to be too bothered by them. =)

I had braces twice. And I am probably going to need them again eventually. The first time I had them for 2.5 years, the second time 1 year, and I have never been made of for them. I mean like at least half of the people I associate with have or had them, so its not something they would make fun of.

You know it's weird but i think over here(UK) that braces are free for under 16's. I'm not sure though i'd have to ask.

No, braces don't hurt. Well, I guess it depends on the person, though. As long as you don't eat hard foods at first, you should be fine. And the only thing you will feel while putting braces on is annoyance from having to sit in the chair with your mouth wide open the whole time.

Well my opion is that they hurt Really Bad and Your Spacers is no pain compared to braces but spacers do hurt to but 1-2 weeks your braces should stop hurting well atleast mine did... Best of Luck to u with your braces =)

Well I wasn't able to chew anything for like 2 weeks both times. I pretty much lived on soup. And then when they would change the wires I would be in pain for 3 or so days. So yea, for me they hurt.

thats pretty muc how I was but sometimes I culd eat like Macoroni or peas pretty much just soft stuff=) And i hate getting my wires changed!!!!! How long have you had yours on

It took me about 2 days to chew hard stuff again. I also never felt any pain when they changed the wires.
Tis different for everyone.

Ohh I got mine off like 4 years ago. I had them in 4th-6th grade, and then like 6 month break and again in 7th & 8th grade. Fun times.
