Angel Stadium and Dodger Stadium are both great stadiums IMO.
Since you haven't been to either, and you're visiting DLR, I also think the obvious choice is Angel Stadium -- it's just a couple of miles and an easy drive from DLR.
(Dodger Stadium is a 30-mile drive from DLR.)
FWIW, we went to an Angels game on July 28, 2010.
The Angels played the Boston Red Sox.
Here are some photos from that game.
This photo was taken before the game. There were plenty of parking spots:
We bought tickets at the gate, and it took more than a half hour.
Game time was 12:35pm. In the photo below you can see the line for tickets. We got in the line at 11:52am. The ticket booth was located just
below where it says "All-Star Game" -- and the line must have been 100 yards long. Waiting in line for tickets wasn't a good start, but we did
manage to buy the tickets and we saw the first pitch of the game.
We wanted seats between home plate and first base, and we wanted to pay between $30 and $40 per ticket.
We got tickets that were about half-way between home and first, for $35 per ticket.
Here's our view as the Angels took the field!
Later in the game they announced that the game was sold out, with attendance of 44,052, but it didn't look too crowded when the game started.
In the photo below you can see a lower section (with 9 rows) and an upper section with 15 rows. Our seats were in the lower section ("Lower
View MVP") -- about seven rows up.
The 2nd inning:
It was a beautiful day, but it does get hot in the direct sunlight. Luckily, every park in Anaheim has to have a Splash Mountain:
The 3rd inning:
Later in the game, in the 8th inning, the shortstop Marco Scutaro hit a Grand Slam to give the Red Sox a 7-3 victory. (Josh Beckett got the Win.)
Here's the last pitch of the game:
My daughter Jean Marie (7) and son James (8) after the game.
As we were leaving the park, I took this photo of the field from the lower level. It really is a beautiful park.
(It's the fourth oldest active MLB stadium, behind Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, and Dodger Stadium.)
Palm trees! Gotta love southern California!
Hope this helps.
