I think that I've seen more children actually get hurt (or bump into someone) while running in a store! My DD-9 has Heely's and her body actually moves less while she is wheeling (as opposed to when she walks and fidgets around - always bumping into someone). She wheelies when there is an open space - she'd fidget with 20 people in the aisle - and bump half of them. I think they're cute and she wears them everywhere except church (takes out the wheels for school).

I also agree that they ought to make grownup versions! They sure would help a person get to a PS on time.

I was looking for a pair on ebay for my daughter and they have all sizes...I clicked on one auction wthat said a size 13 but it was a MANS size 13 so they sure do make them for adults!
