We are leaving for our trip in 12 days and are planning to have breakfast at the castle. I bought a Cinderella Dress on ebay for my daughter to wear as we will be eating there the first morning and will not have time to stop at BBB. My son saw me packing the dress, and asked if he could wear his King Peter costume to the breakfast(from Chronicles of Narnia). I did not know what to say. Any thoughts????

Why on earth would he not?

Children are permitted to wear costumes in the parks (if he's 17 it might be a different story) and I don't think it's a girls only club.

He just turned 9, does that change your mind at all. I just wouldn't want hime to be embarrassed, however he is just as excited as his sister about eating with Cindy!!!!!!:goodvibes

He wants to wear the costume, sounds like he isn't easily embarrassed. And I'd bet Cindy would make a deal out of a real live prince.

I know you got your answer but the post caught my eye. I ate there in August with my mother, DS9 and DD5. It was DD's pick but DS9 ended up really liking it. The waiter referred to him as the young prince throughout the meal and eating in the castle is just cool. :cool2: Anyway, I asked him what he thought about your son dressing up and he thought it was a great idea!:thumbsup2 Have a great trip.:goodvibes

Absolutely have him wear it. My mom & I created a Prince costume for my nephew (10yo) for the CRT breakfast. He got more attention from the Princesses and Wait Staff than my niece in her Cinderella finery. It was awesome. He was strutting around like a real prince. They went on & on about how they seldom got to see such a handsome prince. I can definitely say that it is a MUST do for your son.

Thanks everyone!! I am really grateful for your responses. He will love it, and I guess that's what Disney is all about!!!!!!

I can tell you that the Fairy Godmothers in training at the BBB go absolutely ga ga over little boys who are dressed up. :)
