Boy's foot is crushed on Universal Studios' E.T. ride, lawsuit claims

Couple of things. (1) they are seeking "at least $15,000". Not $15,000. $15,000 is likely the delineation between something akin to small claims court and a jury trial in Florida. (2). They couldn't read the signs. So now parks have to have every sign in every conceivable language? Seriously, who reads the signs? Does a kid not ride ET because of a warning? Warning signs are a catch 22. If you don't have one you're screwed; if you do, it's somehow insufficient. Millions of people have ridden the ride without injury. The ride isn't dangerous or defective.
