I knew the reviews and hype were there, but our family was blown away by Dinner at Boma. Everything was good.... Salads, Soups, Sides, Entree's and Dessert. Even my wife and 3 boys, all picky eaters said it was their favorite place. The only thing we didn't like was the Watermelon rind salad.

And to top it off the service was exceptional.

We can't reccomend Boma for Dinner highly enough. We will be booking it each vacation.

It has been one of must have meals for the past three years!!!
Breakfast is also yummy!!;)

We love it there too! We've taken all types of eaters - adventurous, picky, vegetarian and child and they've all found more than enough to enjoy and look forward to returning for.

I've been reading a lot of reviews in anticipation of our trip in December and BOMA is one that many rave about. I have 5 months to decide if we will do dinner or lunch.

Thanks for sharing your experience. :thumbsup2

So glad you enjoyed it! Boma is one of our most favorite restaurants ANYWHERE. We never miss it!

My family really enjoys it too. I am not truly a vegetarian, but I am not a big fan of most meats. This meal is second only to Jiko (out of all the Disney meals I've had...and I have a had more than a few).

Anyway, I think I could eat my weight in falafel.

We are also Boma lovers, the soups are out of this world and the bread pudding, what can I say but DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!! We'll be back for dinner and breakfast next month.:cool1:

This is so good to hear!
I'm also not much of a meat eater, but in my family I'm the most adventurous - so I am a little nervous to try Boma.:scared:
DH and the kids say they're up for it, so I guess we'll give it a shot!

BTW brandylouwho, I'm also from WI and I have that same exact lunchbox in your avatar!:goodvibes

We've eaten here somewhere between one and two dozen times (it's the first dinner of almost every vacation there) and we love it too.

Oh no!!!!! I was all set to cancel this ADR. Orignally I made it because we are going to be in AK that day and I wanted to check out the resort. But then I realized we need a night at DTD. Since AK closes early I thought that would be the perfect night to do DTD instead of Boma. Oh dear - what to do?!?

I am so happy to hear that, I have been reading the Dis boards for months and was getting a little scared about going to Boma becasue I have read that some folks are not impressed. We are a family of adventureous eaters so you made excited to try it out!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

My family is the pickyest eaters..... only Chicken fingers and normal food..... They all loved Boma. You will be fine. Try everything. I can now say I like to eat Fu Fu.

We were in the same boat last year. I had a great ADR booked and ended up cancelling it because we were done AK at about 2:00pm and did not feel like going back and forth. Not sure about this year yet. The kids want to do Tusker House for breakfast.

This was one of our favorite meals on our trip last year (the other being Jiko). I was so into trying a bit of absolutely everything that I had no room left by the time I got to dessert. I only managed to try a small bite out of each of the desserts that I picked up so make sure to pace yourself enough to save room for dessert!

I was overruled on Boma last trip in 2007....this time, as long as I can get the ADR, we will be there in August! This is the meal I am most looking forward to....even more than Le Cellier!

Myoldest daughter is going for her college graduation trip at the end of May and she made an ADR for Boma. Now after reading everyones reviews,I am considering it for a trip with my other daughter when we go in August. I can make my ADR'S on May 28. My problem is I have more ADR's planned then I have days in Disney! :rotfl2:

We really enjoy Boma as well, have been there twice for dinner, and will be going again on our 3rd trip in Nov. Every other place is usually new for us, but we do so enjoy it, it's been a must-do so far.

I think of it more as an eating adventure. There are so many different things to try, and I think my mom and I tried every single thing on our last trip. We had such a good time giving our opinions to each other about each and every morsel. It was SO much fun.

And I agree with a PP that their bread pudding is absolutely to DIE for!

Acutally, your options at Boma are Breakfast or Dinner, both of which are awesome. I would suggest dinner for your first visit, it has an amazing array of options.
