Had a scare here these past few days!
DH, who went through cancer treatment during the second half of 2004, started to cough. Normally, I wouldn't of given it a second thought BUT when he coughed, he would grab his chest in obvious pain. The type of cancer he had ("squamous cell carcinoma") is a type of cancer that is somewhat limited to where it can go (his was in his tonsils and lymph node)...but it CAN go into the lungs. In fact, his sister's mother in law passed away from this type of cancer in her lungs a few years ago. Everytime he would cough, it took everything to keep myself from panicing! He went to the doctor yesterday and even though he said it "sounded" like bronchititis, he wasn't taking any chances and ordered a chest exray. I am happy to report that everything is clear in there!!
I guess if he ever gets any pain, anywhere above the knees, I will panic for quite some time! That's all I need...more reasons to get gray hair!!

I'm glad it's just bronchitis.
