It wasn't a name call...it's called a "joke". What strange land do you hail from where these things are forbidden?
If not them...somebody else would have bought. I'll just assume you got nothing and this IS a joke
Again..."ask your doctor if a sense of humor is right for you..."
Covered above...
It was real tough...
when Conan O brien (might have been Fallon...can't remember) asked ford if he got "all nostalgic" when he put his costume on...fords response was "no...I got paid"
Real tough...
That movie was done overall pretty well...I liked it on the whole...especially the look/feel and the traditional effects.
But "gutsy"?
No...not at all. Come on.
That is what he likes to do...I'm sure fox, Comcast, and Warner brothers would have had ZERO interest in buying lucasfilm...what would be in it for them? It's not like they have licensed over $50
Billion in products just off Star Wars or anything...
Hmmm...I can't help you if you don't want to help yourself...gotta take a breath here and expand horizons...
(Yes...I'm talking about the classic Epcot ride...before fastpass)
See? Jokes are fun
This is either a. Argumentative with no goal. Or b. Written by a non-star wars fan who doesn't get it.
it is a risk. But not the way you think.
You think financing the production is hard? When it's Star Wars? That's laughable.
Here is the risk: Many core Star Wars fans still are in shock from prequels. This movie can't be bad...it will dredge all that old disappointment back up. And if the next movie is thin "emotionally"...it will tell many of us what we feared: that Star Wars is locked in time in 1980. And what we all thought coulda been just the beginning of our favorite pop culture stories was actually the end. That's 30 years of pent up thought...
Don't underestimate what is going on here...
You'd probably say "it made $400 million at the box office"...
So did the prequels...and they did as
Much harm as good to those that have the money to spend on the franchise...
...which is all your fastpass hero Iger cares about.
Are we good here?
