So we have been RVing to the Fort since 2004! I love rving for many reason but one of the main ones is being able to cook your own meals. My husband this year was diagnosed with heart failure and now we must really watch sodium. For the very first time ever we have an entire month booked in 2025!

I started thinking, how can we make things easier for both of us and it crossed my mind what if I signed up for green chef or one of the more healthier meal delivery boxes? Even hello fresh would not be horrible because you can still control ingredients.

Has anyone how has stayed longer than a week or two done this?

I just saw this and wonder if it works the same way for meal services: https://wdwprepschool.com/grocery-delivery-to-disney-reso
I am guessing yes! I have signed up for hello fresh and blue apron in the past so I am thinking you would need to do it early enough that the delivery day can be when you get there and then the delivery on the next week and the next and then logged on and cancel the week or two you are leaving (so no accidental deliveries). Then cancel when home completely. Use the address in the link you posted for Fort Wilderness. I know a person can buy the ingredients and just do it on their own but this sure would make it easier.

I also have heart issues and watch my sodium, fat and cholesterol. We last stayed in a cabin and ordered heart-healthy foods from WalMart to put together ourselves. It can be delivered about the time you arrive. If you aren't there yet they will hold it at the Reception Outpost for you and will keep the refrigerated items refrigerated.

It is a pain but actually probably how we all should eat anyways! It is just more difficult when traveling! I started Green Chef this week at our home because it really helps me since I do do the cooking and I work full time. They had an excellent coupon! The Green Chef is supposed to be Organic and I was able to look at the nutrition label for the meal. I don't need to add salt (I am sure some of the seasoning in the box have sodium but I just don't add more). I am thinking if I signed up in the window where the first delivery is when we arrive there and then do the next 3-4 deliveries that month it sure might be nice. I think the office would just hold like anything else. I think it would work. I will do a Walmart delivery for fruits and such too!
