.I don't know of a woodworking shop on Newboro. We don't get there too often. Do you remember going through Jones Locks/Jones Falls? or Chaffey's Lock? We are very close to Chaffey's and we go to Jones Falls often for picnics. They have a working blacksmiths shop there and people in period costumes walking around. Its a lot of fun for the kids.

Sounds really nice!
I remember paddling through and the water lifting us (would we have gone up or down?) at both locks and the fact tht one year we had to portage all our geer and canoes except one as the Lock Master insisted all boats in the lock be registered but in New York only boats with motors needed registration. I think we might have eaten lunch if the time was right but I sure could not draw you a picture.

The woodworker was probably in his 60s or older when we were there in the 1960s so all evidence is likely gone now. 40 years changes a lot.
.
See you soon!
