Since I see quite a few people on line. I have a question.
What are people doing in Maderia? Are you doing a DCL excursion? Or if you're doing your own thing, what sugestions do you have? I'd like to see the island and yet get back for the flower parade.
Thanks for the imput,
Jennifer

We have a group going with Daniel, too. We are going for a 4 hour tour with 7 of us. I have read good things about him. I'm going to email them soon to make sure we're still good to go. She said that we could have our driver drop us off in 2 different places if some want to stay for the parade at 4 pm.

This will be our second:thumbsup2

Congrats!! How old is your first? Mine is DGD 8. She's getting into that "talk back, roll your eyes" pre-teen stage. I'm not liking it very much. I caught her putting kleenex in her dress the other day, if you know what I mean. Sometimes she acts like she's about 13. :lmao: But I still wouldn't trade being a grandma for anything. If I could have done it without the parenting thing, I might have.

Just curious...for anyone who's been around since the thread's beginning, was this first called something like nobody expects a Spanish Reposition, or something like that? We booked the first moment you could when this opened because we were also trying to get a good room on the Baltics cruise, and I just have this vague memory of it... lol

This is actually the 4th thread. The Spanish Reposition ones were 2 and 3, I believe. There is also a kids thread. Find it in the "meets" section, Magic 2010 cruises then Apr 10.

My grandkids are three-year-old boy/girl twins. I noticed someone on this thread listing ds3 & dd3. Any chance I can borrow them if I need a fix?

I'll be one of those who'll enjoy watching all the kids have fun on this cruise. I always have more fun at WDW when I've invited folks who've never been there to join us. The experience of watching friends reacting to their many magical firsts always enhances the trip.

My first ride at WDW as Peter Pan's Flight. It will forever be a favorite.

Our first is 15 months. Yes the nice thing about grand parenting is that you can send them home :rotfl2: The parent thing has some real challenges.

We have a 4 year old son. Does anyone have any idea about the amount of children on board? ....................... Estimate?

We also have a 4yr old JTN. His Bday is 2/13 and his name is Lucas. Yours?
He'll be attending the children's programs and I've heard quoted between
3-- and 400.

PHEW!! One day that I have to go to work and it takes me an hr+ to catch up!! I am here now. You can post again! ;)

If I can fit it, I'm planning to bring a poofy type dress too. Fitting everything in my luggage and keeping the bags under 50 lbs is going to be a challenge!

This is an issue for me too. I'd love to bring a long poufy dress, but I think I'll probably go with something that weighs a lot less. I'll be holding up my formal dresses to the "weight test" and whichever 2 are the lightest (and can be worn w/ the same shoes) will be the ones that I bring.

The only thing is that I don't want to wear black on princess night...I guess I feel like black is more evil queen than princess :maleficen

I'll have a few formalish dresses. For some reason, I seem to have no casual dresses, so I'll be wearing either formalwear or slacks to dinner! My poofy dress is hot pink, and when I tried it on this weekend it looked so cute- I really want to find a place for it in the luggage!

That'd be me and ABSOLUTELY (though I should mention that we call DD "The Evil Twin" for a reason :rotfl2:)... It's funny - my parents are local and see the kids all the time and are already fretting over how they are going to survive 2 whole weeks without their fix. They are a handful but I love this age! My DS asks every day if it's time to go to "da Mickey Boat."

Lynne I was wondering what program you use to make your "Bound for Barcelona" graphics and stuff.

Don't laugh - MS Word 2004 - no graphics program, just word processing. One day I'm going to discover that I had a graphics program built into this computer and I will be very sad that I fought with that Word program trying to align stuff.

I thought that you'd said you had a Mac though. Do they have Word for a Mac? I'm very new to owning a Mac so I pretty much know how to look at my pictures, use iTunes, and go online.

I don't think I'm in charge of this, but, I'll just keep posting this every now and then:

Cat 12 Inside

Cat any Handicapped (I'd love to see one w/Verandah)

I deleted the list of upgrades from the website, and just realized it had info on who was willing to open their cabins for tours. And if we get enough volunteers, perhaps we can utilize 2 cabins per category to keep the traffic down. ?

Who's up for opening your cabin?

If you volunteered and don't see it here, remind me to put it on the list.

It is a Mac - regular, not laptop, but I bought the Microsoft Word, Excel, program for word processing, spreadsheets.

I really should look and see what else might be built in. :goodvibes

Mac is supposed to be awesome for graphics work. I would bet that there is something built in.

It's looking like a purchased graphic package is needed - but then I didn't realize that iLife had a website built-in, either. Maybe that's where I should be looking!
