Caught up :thumbsup2 No new news ... still getting ready. (Do need to find my FE though) :confused3

Your daughter sounds like she's following in my DD's footsteps. We were on the maiden voyage, so she was in the OC at 7....celebrated her 13th birthday in The Stack and her 18th in Palo! Oh, and high school graduation gift was a cruise with her mom and 4 teen friends....not to mention the number of cruises in between these. Now she's not too happy that I'm cruising without her, but there's this college thing...

Sounds a bit like us too. DS18 was a late bloomer, lol & didn't start till age 9 in 2001, and he's in school now so missing this cruise (yep, that college thing lol), but we'll take him later this year for his first Palo experience. He's a bit concerned about losing the Stack, but maybe this means I will get to see him sometimes! :goodvibes

Just curious...for anyone who's been around since the thread's beginning, was this first called something like nobody expects a Spanish Reposition, or something like that? We booked the first moment you could when this opened because we were also trying to get a good room on the Baltics cruise, and I just have this vague memory of it... lol

Thank you so much. I guess I will jut check when we arrive. Do you know what time the ME starts running from the airport to the port. Our flight lands at 9am.

Sounds like a good time to arrive & from what I've read...buses start at 10:00 AM...or before! :goodvibes

I'm not sure if this is right. It used to be this way, but in December we did not do one of the "standard" rotations. We had to check our KTTW each night! I don't remember how they changed it, but it was different.

As above, there will not be a repeat of menus or themes....there will be 14 different menus.

Was that a Western? I think they have a repeat night...or maybe it's only when they flip Cozumel and Grand Cayman, because of Pirate Night...something like that.

Yep...wayyyyyyy baaaaaack in time. Most of those early folk (thread starter and some others) had to cancel the cruise so the gang re-formed and picked a new identity! :thumbsup2

I was beginning to wonder if my formal dress for Princess night was going to be too formal. It's poofy and fantastic. Dan says there is no such thing as being overdressed. It would be okay on HAL, but I haven't seen too many poofy dresses in formal pictures on the DISboards. But if there are tiaras, my dress is perfect. I don't think I'll bring a tiara, but I might bring my vine head piece. princess:

If I can fit it, I'm planning to bring a poofy type dress too. Fitting everything in my luggage and keeping the bags under 50 lbs is going to be a challenge!

Ugh, you guys are getting quick on here. I haven't looked in for a week and I'm about 50? pages behind.

I'm guessing based on the recent comments that there's going to be a prince/princess night onboard now? That sounds like fun. Of course it means I'll have to add ANOTHER item into DD's bag. We just ordered the girls Tiana dresses last week, so those will probably be the ones we pack in the luggage.

Yes it was but that was 4 threads ago. After 250 pages the board makes you start a new thread. :surfweb:

Yes it was -- a long time ago.

My DD5 and DD7 will certainly want to dress up too, especially if there are other little girls dressing up! I wouldn't trust my DS3 to even keep any costume on for long enough to make it worthwhile to pack!

I am getting a bit concerned about the packing, what with formal wear, princess/pirate, swim wear, cool weather gear....not sure how we're going to get it all there, or else I'll need to get a 2nd job to pay all the baggage fees!!

Yes, the packing will be a challenge for sure. Will be doing laundry more than once on the cruise!

Seville has one on Tuesday, April 20th in their amazing site reserved for such barbariety (www.realmaestranza.com). We're surely not in Kansas anymore!
.
Even though it's scheduled for 18:30 and the ship leaves at 22:30, there may be a way to make it work . . . My wife's not interested, but my son may be . . .
.
Private message me if you have an interest . . . It would be an adventure for sure.

Just a reminder for everyone participating in the Secret Mickey gift exchange:

Please take a minute or two and fill out the favorites tab on the master spreadsheet (including for the kids too!) Some people would love to have a little more info on what others like and don't like (especially the kids!). The less vague, the more it helps the giver! :goodvibes:thumbsup2

If you forgot to sign up for a FE group, not too late. Group 3 still taking members.

PM me or e-mail. This group is limited to 10 cabins.
