How's the coffee on board? I like full bodied, dark roasts. Does that mean I'll be having mine at the Cove Cafe instead of the free stuff?

I am a coffee snob! :snooty: The coffee onboard is not bad at all. It is a premixed Nescafe (Nestles) but is fairly good. I drink it but also will spend my share of loot at the Cove Cafe. :surfweb:

My DW (Annette) asked me the other night if we were sitting with anyone other than our DS and DDIL at dinner. I told her that I did not know but that we usually found out the seating after we arrive unless we have linked with someone (which we have done on other cruises). She said that she wanted to sit with other people so that Brack III & Jen could meet "our friends".

Is there anyone out there willing to link for dinner? :flower3: We are fairly harmless .... most of the time.

If you know how, you can add my DW (Barbara) and I (Ray) to your linked dining. We are currently on late dining. PM me if you want us to join you.

Palo is a no-smoking restaurant. No, I am not inviting another round of ugly debates. I am relating pertinent info from my confirmation faxes.

I got sidelined with London and thought I'd share some pics from May 2008:

Our "Album Cover" photo on the Millenium Bridge with the Globe Theater on the left and Tate Museum of Modern Art in the factory-looking building:

A little trivia (about all I'm good for :lmao:) .... the glass building at the end of that bridge is The Salvation Army's International Headquarters. :thumbsup2 I am a Salvation Army Officer and have also been on that bridge.

Wow. They require you to dress that much for brunch too? I knew that dinner is that dressy but didn't realize that brunch was the same way. Good to know. I will have to plan accordingly.

Time for some more fun

Question Of The Day.

You are walking around the ship and see someone you don’t know wearing a (unknown color maybe lime green) Lanyard what do you do?

No Doc's yet. Should I be getting worried?

Greet them!

:goodvibes

My DW and I always sign up for this. :thumbsup2 Wonder what two weeks will cost?

You need to change one of those girls to a guy for me! :flower3:

I love room service...best kept secret ...that is NOT a secret :thumbsup2

Several times during a cruise I will set my alarm for about 3AM. I call room service to order a pot of coffee and oatmeal raisin cookies .... just because I can! :woohoo:

I really tried to read all of the posts done since my last visit :scared1: but I could not. :confused3 Now that we are close to the cruise (and I am in full planning mode now) I will try to visit more often to check on things. :surfweb:

I have made return air plans (Sunday not Saturday) on Swiss Air; then from Dulles to Tampa. Also we are staying at the Best Western in Barcelona for that Saturday night.

I am ready to pack my ONE suitcase next week. This will leave my DW the opportunity for two.

From our last cruise ....

What sitting are you in?

---It's a formal restaurant! For guys, they require a jacket or TIE at dinner. No jacket? They will loan you one!

Welcome back Brack!

My group is also flying Swiss Air on Sunday (to DC) and I was very pleased by how generous their baggage policy is. I don't plan on checking two bags each, but it nice to know I can if my spending gets a little out of control.:woohoo:

That's my thought as well. :thumbsup2 I always come back with more than I go so we bring an empty ... or near empty suitcase. :)
