I am jealous it looks like everyone is starting a day early:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: And with out me.

We're flying on Friday; just have the afternoon to make a Wal-Mart run and then the pre-cruise Eve meet - so we're just a little ahead of you. And you'll probably beat me onto the ship, anyway. We are not morning people. :goodvibes
 
A while back, Woody suggested that you put your name in the hat if you want to have your door judged.

Can we have these pre-cruise so we can make a ballot?

OK - is that not from WAY back on thread one :hippie: I really am glad there will be lots of us that will be there! It makes it more exciting! Those of us who will be at epcot should tell something we will have on that will be a sign! Don't know what - but something - it would be fun to see if we see each other at the park just by chance!

isn't my cabin near yours :) You are welcome to keep working down the hall - all donations of magnets would be gladly accepted!

I could do that! I can wear my lime green Mickey shirt I have! So that way if you see me you can run if you like or come up and say HI - your choice!

I don't know if this has been posted already (I don't get to check the computer that often), but is anyone else on the US airways flight out of Philly at 7:55am on the morning of the cruise?

Bumblebee3--Flying out of Philly but at 6:40am. Anyone else on this flight?:yay:
 
:cool1: Got my cruise documents yesterday! Bummed, I think I missed sign up for FE Group 2.
 
The spiral bound documents are the standard now, not just for the TA.

PLEASE let the CD be Brent, PLEASE?!?!?! ANYONE but Peter who is a (insert word here, most of the ones I'd choose would be bleeped by the censor). Sorry, I've been thru a lot of CDs....Jacqui, Cara, Rachel, Christiaan, Brent, Jim, as well as some assistants as acting CDs. Peter is the absolute worst! When we sailed in December, Brent thought he'd be doing the TA, but things do change.

I was on the Jan30 cruise on the Magic and Brent said he would be on the TA. Lots of others, servers especially, that I talked to were going to be on leave and joining the cruise in Barcelona.

I may have to pay attention to the doings of the Cruise Director (CD) this time - oh, who am I kidding? I have too many fun things to do, I'm not sure I can fit them all in. I've heard about different management styles of the CDs, but as long as the people I interact with are doing their jobs and being cheerful, I'm ON VACATION.

That said, I have had Brent as CD twice, and perhaps Christian the other time. The BINGO girls and Chip-It Golf guys were more important, because they knew a winner when they saw one :rotfl:
 
Can we add Cruise Director to the list of things Steven (spyles) - and the rest of us - won't get in a row over?

Hey, we actually have one of those. We got one of those on our other cruise for our honeymoon which also happened to be my birthday. I could see if my husband would be willing to part with it if you like.
 
Book Exchanges will take place on April 12, 15, 17, 19 & 22nd, 9:30AM at the Promenade Lounge. Followed by knitting at 10AM. Knitting group -- meet at the Promenade Lounge. If we're all over 18 we can decamp to the Cove Cafe and knit over coffee....

In 2007, the Art of Entertaining Series was presented at 10:00 am every sea day, including the following topics in the morning sessions:

Westphalian .. Pancakes
Classic Vichyssoise
Potato Gnocchi
Wild Mushroom Risotto

They held 2 afternoon sessions - not repeats of the morning - one towel folding, the other some art thing (I can't read the fine print on the website - I know, I put it there, but I still can't read anything but the letters in bold print).

Towel folding was also offered as a family activity at a different time.

10:00 am was the earliest time activities are listed on the Navigator, other than AA meetings, Morning Walk and Ocean Quest Open House (it appears several times - I guess that's when they let the adults in).

My point - just an FYI - in case all you knitters were also secret Top Chefs. And this is 2007 info.

I think I suggested that to be eligible for the door decoration contest, a person has to:
-- sign up here online, and
-- attend the Awards Lunch.

A ballot listing the cabin numbers would be prepared and distributed (perhaps on Day 1 at the DISmeet before the muster drill).

Some more thoughts:

A ballot with specific cabin numbers will make it easier for people to find and vote on the nominated doors. Otherwise people might be voting on doors belonging to people not attending the Awards Lunch.

If it's alright with Dee, we can let people turn in their ballots at any of the book exchanges.

After seeing photos of Brooklyn's door, I suggest we add that a person can win one category only. So if there are four categories, there will be four different winners.

Hi all, well you know the saying - you think of it, you get to do it :)

I am organizing a FE Group #3 === Limited to 10 cabins. This group will close March 31st or sooner if the group fills. One gift per cabin is what I think makes sense. Since we are starting so late, I didn't want a larger group.

I don't read the boards as much as my e-mail so please use the PM / e-mail option to let me know you want in.

AuntLynne - please jump in with some other info folks need or that I should add.

I'll also put the info on the website so if the group doesn't get big enough, and people in Groups 1 or 2 have extras, Group 3 will still be gifted (as though each of them don't have special qualities, already :goodvibes).

You Newbies who just joined or weren't sure when you jumped in with us, now's your time.

And if you don't know what we are talking about, just ask.
