We got our cruise docs!!:cool1::banana::yay:

And Don "Ducky" Williams will be on the cruise with us!!!!!:artist::hyper:party::donald: My husband will be the one fainting because Don taught him how to draw Mickey and is the reason he is an artist at the Studios today!!!:faint:

We just got our cruise documents in the mail. My DH, who thus far has been rather uninterested in cruise planning or the DIS board, turned to me and asked - why don't you go post on the board that you got your cruise documents?!!? I think he might be getting excited! Finally! Plus, I think he's finally trained that y'all here on the DIS board rule!

It's starting to feel real!

So cool!

He is a very nice man. If he has a presentation I HIGHLY recommend that everyone attend....it's amazing what he can do.

That's a cool story about your DH - you'll have to see if you can get a pic of the 2 of them together.

I will definitely do that. It would make a nice page in the scrapbook. I am trying to convince my husband to design custom magnets for our door. We'll see if he actually does it.

5 weeks from right now I should be driving (with Jackie & Pam) from the MCO airport (where I pick them up) to the Country Inn & Suites!!!

-- yeah, spoken by a guy who wants to know what DCL has on the room service menu for Cougars!

<<QOTD>>
--If you normally sail on 7+ day cruises, will you book a shorter cruise on the Dream ... or wait for the Fantasy?

I MIGHT be willing to sail on a 4 day trip, but I am currently "dreaming" of the 2011 post-Christmas 5 day double dip. :lovestruc For me, if I am going to spend only 3 days with Disney, I would rather do it in the parks.

In the last thread, someone mentioned "cougar tag". Sounds interesting.... Someone said the cougar queen would give the rules. So, what are the rules and who is the cougar queen?
Kristi
Ummm I think we all decided IT WAS YOU! :thumbsup2
Oh exaulted leader!:worship::worship::worship:

QOTD: I am am going to book B2B Dream for next summer for DS and I. I am trying to talk his best friend and his parents to do the same....they have never been and have NO idea what they are missing:confused3....

Currently wishing for cruise Docs ...but happy for those who already received :)
Don "Ducky" was on our last crusie....great workshop...got shirts and a LE graphic signed ..it was really cool

Same here. Hopefully in 3D.

Woody

My 14yr old DS was VERY distressed that we weren't standing in line at 12am to see this. That was our plan BEFORE a Transatlantic cruise (poor thing :lmao:).
I called DCL and the very sweet CM said she believed they WOULD have it in 3D by the time we sailed.
Just an FYI
Now Playing:
UP
Toy Story 1 &2 b2b 3D
Christmas Carol 3D (still? maybe AiW will replace this??)
There were more though I'm not sure what....:confused3

Yes I read in the Passporter book that you can call & find out which movies will be playing on your cruise...I was wondering when someone was going to do that! :goodvibes

I hope we'll get to see Alice and also I hope they're still playing The Princess & the Frog. I just couldn't convince my husband to go see that one and I really want to!

Okay, It seems real now! My cruise Docs just arrived!!:dance3::cheer2: Five weeks today and I leave for the cruise! :woohoo: Even DH is slightly excited. (He doesn't get really excited until he comes home from work the day before we leave  so I have to share all of my exciting pre-planning stuff with you people!) Thank goodness for the dis board or DH would be driven mad by now! :teeth:

:jumping1:

WHOO HOOO!!!! WE GOT OUR CRUISE DOCS TODAY!!!!!:mickeyjum:goofy::ccat::dancer:party:

Yay! It's time for the Document Dance!!
We don't have ours yet, but I'm dancing vicariously through you guys

Welcome to the weekend everyone. No cruise documents for us.

We did, however, get our cabin assignment for the Med. We are in room 6571 just a few doors down from our TA room 6583. I wished they had done a better job helping out the B2B cruisers so we wouldn't have to pack it all up and move. So close and yet so far. :rotfl: Maybe things will settle out in the end. For now, I count the days and my blessings.:cheer2:

He was on the Panama cruise with us and one morning I was having breakfast and he came in with his father, who was in a wheelchair. I was sitting next to them and he started up a conversation with me. We talked about different things throughout breakfast. He is a wonderful person and extrememly talented. We went to one of his workshops and the Mickey I drew looked like a monkey to me but as he signed it he said "keep practicing". Everytime he saw me on the ship he would ask me if I was still practicing. Go to his workshops and seminars- they are great.

How exciting for everyone who got their docs today!! None here maybe tomorrow.

I got my tattoo and I love it I'll post a pic when I get home I'm at my moms posting from my iPhone

Wow, it's good to hear that documents are arriving. I called and asked about when I should be getting ours and was told not until 2 weeks before sailing.
Hope everyone is happy with their room assignments.

A while back someone posted an item about going to the fountain to see the show in Barcelona but that it was not as short of a walk as they thought. Is someone organizing any kind o f transportation to it:? If so please let me know. We would probably be interested in joining a group.

I have the post (page 1) about meeting at the fountains. If we have someone who is good with navigation on the website, and can figure out if we can take a bus (vs, cab) ... that would be good to know. At this point, I think it's probably best for 1, 2 or 3 people to look into something like this, and report back ... instead of having 100 separate individuals figuring out what to do.

So, do we have any volunteers? I have no experience with public transportatin in Europe ... hopefully, a volunteer will have previously been to Barcelona. Anyone? :flower3:

keep in mind also that it depends on who you booked your cruise with when you will get your documents. TA's can have your documents sent to them then give/send them to you - adding days - or they can come straight from Disney either because you booked with them or because your TA had them sent directly to you.

I did not get mine today either but I am hoping soon!

Krisann

You know, it gets really hard to post anything if I keep having to catch up on a trillion pages! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Regarding tip packs at AAA: They charge the exchange rate that was in effect on the day they got the packs, so if you're looking for Euros, you're probably better off exchange rate-wise ordering them and paying the $12. Since my Credit Union doesn't do foreign currency, that's the route I'm taking. I actually had the lady at AAA compare prices for me between tip packs and ordering the money, and the difference was $100 in favor of ordering :scared1:
