Hey Kristi my aunt and I thought it might be fun if a bunch of us got the cougar and/or cougar in training shirts and wore them all together and had a pic done...what do you think?
It's official! We can say our vacation is next month!!!
IMHO ...the free stuff is just ok....even at dinner....just ok. At dinner I have even gotten a lukewarm cup! It is one small bone of contention for me that is DIS can do everything else so right...why can't they make the coffee onboard better. I drink it black strait up..when it is good but when it is ok...I usually put in splenda and skim mik..... so I bringing little packets of splenda with coffee flavoring so I can make it more enjoyable. (sorry for such a rant....but I love my coffee)
As far as cove cafe... I had one once...it was good, standard coffee house concoction (Latte I think) ....not bad. But you won't see me buying them all the time...I dont like to pay for overpriced coffee and I dont like drinking my calories.
QOTD color: Blue, various shades
Yay! Thread # 4.... (I was a newb on three..barely reviewed 2, never saw 1) Happy day to all!

I have a business trip to Orlando this week. I hope I find time to check in on this thread occasionally. I don't think I could catch back up when I get back home otherwise.
We have a dinner at Wolfgang Puck's Thursday night. I've never been there. How is the dress code? I'm sure someone here has eaten there before.
My favorite color is purple (this is LSU country).
I may or may not have fought to get a royal purple area rug in my dining room,
My favorite candy is Butterfinger, Zero and Almond Joy.
I may or may not be known for hiding each of these types of candy bars from my children and telling them they are for adults only

For those of you that don't like coffee (ME), there is hot tea and hot chocolate available - even at the beverage station. If I remember correctly, there is even milk at the beverage station (I like my hot chocolate a little creamier and it helps cool it down a bit).
I'm looking forward to the little tables set up late at night by the nightclubs with desserts (choc covered strawberries).

Friends of ours just returned from WDW a few weeks back, they ate at Wolfgangs (sit down not carry out) and I do not think they wore anything fancy or special, seems Disney vacation attire seems to rule even there. We've never made it in yet even though we plan to each trip, so sad.
Look forward to meeting such a person of good taste![]()

Somebody gave a great suggestion. Go to the beverage station with our cool castaway club cups put some milk in the cup, then walk over to the ice cream station put some ice cream and chocolate syrup and shake. And there you have it instant (sort of) Milkshake.
I e-mailed to get more details on the flower festival from their web site. I got a response today. I was wanting to know the time of the parade specifically so that we would be there in time after other activities.
Concerning the Flower Festival, we confirm that it will happen on April the 17th and 18th.
On April the 17th the morning will be dedicated to children. Children of several schools of Funchal participate in a small parade that ends in the Municipal Square, where they put a flower in the symbolic Wall of Hope. Then and there, the children can assist to a show specifically prepared to them.
The Flower Parade will happen on April the 18th, from 16H00 on.
Nevertheless, from April the 15th on, the central area of Avenida Arriaga, will be decorated and several folklore groups will be acting.

Hmmmm I don't know it would probably be better is everyone picked the one they liked best since they'd be buying it. What do you think?
