Who has girls in the 4/5 (preschool/K) range?

Anyone interested in doing some supervised e--pals (electronic pen pals) to get our dd's talking ahead of time.

I know there was a "kid's thread" out there a long time ago....but it didn't get much traffic as I recall. It would be fun to have our kid's know some names ahead of time.

I have dd8 and dd7

Both of which I will be sending birthday baskets from Shirley's for them!

Hi Emma'smom - so glad you posted. I was thinking the same thing! My daughter is 8 (3rd grade) - and I would love for her to get to know some of the other girls her age before the trip. Would be more than happy to do supervised e-pal. Maybe we can have a meet & greet the first day on board. If you want, send me a PM and we can coordinate.

My kid has never uttered the word "bored" on a DC and yes...I have had to "make" him leave the programs to spend time with dear old mom (thank god for meals....)

I personally have dibs on the enclosed portion of the Deck 4 / FWD portion of the running/walking trail ... you know ... the portion that is enclosed from weather. It can be a tad noisy, so I am bringing ear plugs. I plan to "appropriate" one of the teak deck chairs with blue cushions from deck 4 as well. For protection at night, I will also appropriate one of the shuffleboard "pusher things," in case I am attacked by a cougar at night.

FE #2 Question: Do we have a cut off date for this group?


I am on both FE 1 & 2 - all my gifts for FE #1 are done and packed!

Now I am working on FE #2 and I am doing one per household gift that is totally different from my FE #1 - so if you are one of the families doing both groups like us, please know that our first gift just has our names - our 2nd gift will be identified as FE #2! Just an FYI

Just a hint (the gift is small and flat (not a magnet) and will be easy to take home!)


Also one additional request if you are more than one family in a cabin can you please mark that that on the list - what I am doing cannot be shared if you do not live in the same household and I want each household to have one.

Lanyards are already ordered and I am so glad we ordered 500 so al the newbies will get them too! Color voting is done and over and no one knows the color except 3 of us so you get to be surprised with everyone else!

I have not ordered my baskets yet - but kinda know what I am planning on doing - I want to do the totebags she has and fill them with Dr. Pepper bottles and rootbeer along with their favorite snack foods. I am going to order one big one for the family and one smaller one for my son's birthday. He is a pluto fanatic so I want an all pluto birthday thing. I do not want a lot of stuff we have to take home so there is the snack foods! I may have her put a few fun items in but we have to think about baggage so the food is the best for us!

--The "pusher thing" isn't to keep the Cougars away ... it's to keep Terry away from trying to join in on the action! I want the Cougars ALL FOR MYSELF!

I am much to "Sly" to be found hunting a pack of cougar. You have to separate them. Besides People get lost in tunnels
