Anyone have any luck booking a bounceback offer after they were already home?

I tried last year and no such luck. Even though it showed I had just gotten back you HAVE to book while there and still checked in at the resort!

Yes, we received a post card in Jan that had to be booked by Mar 31 for a similar offer to what is being offered now at the resorts. We just came back and the card in our room was very close to what we received in the mail. We were there with an AP discount though.

As long as you book it while there you can always change it when you get home. I asked before I booked mine as they didn't have the resort I wanted but took one but the CM said I could change it when I got home. I was staying at the CR & later changed it to WL. I know some will say dumb move but we had storm damage when we go home & I decided to keep the cost down until we find out what the insurance will pay. Of course the insurance company (USAA) is taking its time too much backlog with claims. Oh well such is life. But at least we have our Sept trip paid for with air paid & our Nov/Dec trip & air paid for.

We actually got really lucky and were able to book the Free Dining Bounceback Promo last September a few days after getting home.

I had planned on booking while at WDW but thought that I could just pay the deposit in cash at the front desk. Well, everything was done over the phone instead so I didn't have the money in my debit account yet.

After getting home and putting the $$ in the bank, DH called the Bounceback # and was able to book our September 2008 trip. Since then we have switched resorts a bit but they had no problem doing the original booking. I'm not sure if they didn't see that we were no longer at WDW or were just being super helpful but I am very thankful!! LOL

I think it is just my lucky Disney year though. I also received 2 of the 40% Off Discount codes PLUS I just got a new code for I think it is 30% Off. Any other year, I get nothing!! Maybe I will win a good prize while at WDW.

LOL I'm sure I'll never see another code again though! I keep getting them now when I don't need them so I just know next time I do, I will be out of luck! Always what happens to me.
