hey there! I took a short, last minute trip this past weekend. 3 nights - POR. We don't usually stay at moderates, but I was certainly glad we did. On the table they had an offer to return for certain dates throughout the year (blocked out most of summer except August) at 30-40% off IF you book before you check out. And, I DID. I booked the Poly 9/20 - 9/27 (last week it was available) for $238.00 a night. LOVE IT!

Do they often/always have these bounceback offers in the moderate and value rooms? I've never seen this before although I have heard others speak of it. LOVE IT!!!! Great deal I think for the Poly. The food and wine starts 9/26 so we'll get one day of that. I'm hoping MNSSHP happens during that time...anyone know?

Yes that bounceback was being offered during my October 2007 trip and my Jan/Feb 2008 trip. Thanks for letting us know that it's still going strong. Was it a big pocket watch?? I bring the fliers home after each trip just for reference.

We usually stat at OKW and I never saw anything for a Bounceback. This year we are staying at Contemp. Do they always offer a bounceback?

We were at POP 2/12-2/19 and we had the offer on the table. Yes, it was a big pocketwatch.

We got 30% off at Wilderness Lodge for 8/28-9/2

Where there any bounceback dates for dec 08? Thanks!

On the pocketwatch, there were no bounce-back dates offered for October, November or December. From what I've heard, with the food & wine festival as well as Halloween & christmas decorations, they're doing well these months without offers.

We got $255/nt for Aug 27-Sept 1st at WLV 1 br  .... we're all looking forward to it! :3dglasses

We got that offer during our stay at POR after Thanksgiving 2007, and booked the same thing as the OP: Poly garden view, 9/20-9/27 at $238/night. Can't wait!!!:cool1:

I have to stop reading these boards!

We too are staying at the Poly from 9/19 - 9/27 but are not paying anywhere near $238/night. ::mad:

We booked bounceback last year as well but had thought we'd be staying at CSR again. At the time, it was a pretty good deal because it included free dining.

But now that we've upgraded to the Poly, even though we were able to keep the free dining, the $238 room rate would be more of a savings for us!

I'd be better off not knowing.

When we were there in January. We had a split stay at BCV and BWV. We found bounce back offer was at the Boardwalk, but not at the Beach Club. We cannot return this year any ways.

Rats!!! Hopefully some good deals come out, i'm just dying to see the castle all lit up!!

Disney only started offering bounceback last year. Many had complainted here that Disney did nothing for their long time customers - so bounceback.

I got one full price for room with free dinning for Aug/Sept of this year - last year when I was there.

you must make your reservations while you are at WDW. you can't call when you get home.

It seems to be at all the resorts. value, moderate and deluxe - when Disney is offering it.

It may or may not be in your room - because some people take them. It will be on the TV regardless.

yep - a big ol' pocketwatch.

No - not for December. I don't remember the exact dates because some didn't apply to my particular situation. It was April/May time frame -skipped June and July. Then, picked back up in August - September 27. 30% off deluxe and moderate and 40% of deluxe villas at DVC resorts but that didn't include August/September.

Hope that helps.

I booked while I was there for Movies Perferred ( I would much rather stay at Music or POFQ) but ds wants Movies, and my discount was 40% if I had a code from the email 40% or that was the actual bb I don't think I will ever no, but 6 nights at AMO in a preferred room 380.00 08/25-08/31 , I added dining and one day tix for a total of 990.00 ( I am going to have to upgrade my park tickets) POFQ would have been appx 600.00 w/ room only and is 1200.00 w/ package and AKL would have been 1500.00 package 840 room only .... But, I know I read on the boards no values on BB but I was able to book sucessfully either way at 40% :woohoo:

Also no flyer I watched resort tv and waited for the info...

Oh and if they offer free dining for my week, I will switch because I think it will be cheaper to pay rack rate and get free dining then get the 40% at ASMO

i can't kick myself enough for not booking bounceback while we were there in Nov, live and learn

How does bounceback work?

I saw the offer at our POP room 2/21 - 2/26, but didn't much pay attention to stipulations because we cannot go again this year.

Do you save 30% on a return stay at any WDW resort during certain dates or do you have to get a package?

Curious in case we visit again in Feb 2009 and the bounceback is offered next year because we are also planning a Aug 2009 trip.

Your week is the same week as mine? So what do you think the odds are for disney offering free dining for this week? If they do I would probably add that monday and drive and leave fri or sat! That would be awesome I'm really hoping and I'm hoping disney sees the way the economy is going and offers free dining during that time it would be a awesome surprise!

I am hoping they do , because i am going to add a couple of days too:goodvibes
Otherwise, I am happy with my discount :lovestruc

Are you staying at ASMO too ? We have never stayed there before just ASMU and ASSP

As of Now we are booked at CSR but if they offer free dining we may go back to either Pop or Asmu! Never been to ASMO! I'll see what my options are if they offer it!If they offer it and offer Value it will be more bang for my buck going with the Value! So I'm just waiting to see in April then I'll decide because I heard it may just be Moderates or we may Try POR! I'm confused this trip Free dining will help my answer and which resorts are open!:confused3
