Bounceback vs AP in December

I have been reading but haven't seen this question. We are headed down for our second trip this year in early December. My question is: Should I upgrade my 7 day park-hopper tickets to AP's when I go down in June with the hopes of gettng some sort of discount for the December trip? OR should I book a bounceback (if available) when I get down there and forget the AP's? I guess it would help if I knew what sort of bounceback offers are going on right now. Any opinions? :confused3

We just left on Sunday. The bounceback was a room only offer, so an AP would work. I would wait and see what the BB is before deciding. :)

Do you know what the room only BB offer was? We have AP's and are looking into going beginning of Dec. TIA

It's 40% off DVC, 30% off Deluxe -- Dec dates listed are:

Dec 1-5
Dec 13-24

All the other dates in Dec. are not included in the offer. We stayed at both AKL and the Poly. I don't know if the offers are the same at all the resorts or not, but the two that we received were identical.

Hope this helps!:)

If you know you are going twice in one year, get an AP. Maybe there will be great AP rates... or use the BB offer with room only at 40% off. That's fantastic!

I'd upgrade to the AP.:)

I stayed on a bounceback last August. I also had an AP, but the AP rate was higher than my bounceback rate. If I remember correctly (and I might not, heh), my bounceback rate was $227, the AP rate would have been $250ish, and the AAA rate was $276. For a $325/nt room at Beach Club. So if you can get the bounceback rate, it will likely be better than the AP rate. So if you can get the bounceback, I'd take that and only get the AP if it's saving you money on admission tickets.

Thanks for the opinions and info!! I guess we'll just go down and check out the offers. Has anyone else seen bouncebacks for that part of December? It looks like that is going to be the deciding factor. Thanks!!:thumbsup2
