Bounceback vent!

We got a bounceback offer last year when we were staying at ASMu on October 8th. This year it seems like people were getting them at POP and most other Moderates/Deluxes. We are going back this Oct. so ill def report back then.

Maybe this time it was just in the Mods? We got it at CBR but the info was written up for Mod and Deluxe on it.

That being said I was able to book the free dining bounceback for Pop when we were at CBR labor day weekend.


Free dining bounce back required only the standard package $200 deposit. You needed to also purchase park tickets (like any package thru Disney) to receive the free dining.

OP - If you really want to book the bounceback, I would call now & ask to speak to a manager. Tell them you asked about it several times during your stay and the CM's did not know anything about it. I read a thread on here that worked for someone and she was able to book when she got home.

Last year, we were at POP and did not get a flyer. I went to the front desk & asked about it and was handed a flyer.

To the OP, Call the reservation line or the number on the flier and ask to speak to a manager. Explain to them what happened and stress that you wanted to take advantage of the offer but were not allowed to by unknowledgeable CMs. Have your confirmation number handy and be polite but practically refuse to let them tell you it is too late. You tired to book while you were there.

I had a simular situation last year. I understood the flier to say book anytime till the day of your checkout. I called the number on the flier from the car and first was told its too late. I read the flier to the CM and insisted to talk to a manager. The mgr understood how I got confused and booked my request. But the dates were a little shorter than I had heard about. I could only book 5 nites and 6 days. So when the offer opened this year to Visa holders I called back and added more days. Good Luck.

I would definitely call Disney Reservations and complain. The bounce back number if not calling from your room is 407-541-5554 and the offer code is DJX. Yes, you are not supposed to book after checking out but be firm and explain that you asked several times and were told there was no offer. Escalate to a manager if you don't get satisfaction. Be polite but firm. There is no loss to Disney to allow you to book it now if they were going to allow you to book it a few days ago.

Good Luck. We booked 9 days at the Poly for next year using the offer.

What exactly is the hounce back plan? i seen it last year, but i did not pay any attention, kindly advise . . .

Bounce back offers are ones given to current resort guests to get them to book another trip while they are still at the resort. I guess the idea is to try and get people who haven't made up their minds about another trip to make a decision right then. Maybe you only go to WDW every other year or are thinking about taking a different kind of trip next year. They are trying to entice you back with a special offer. The offer going on right now for bounce back is Free Dining. For my family it is a great deal since we plan on going every year anyways.

Booking requires a 200$ deposit but it is fully refundable if you cancel more than 45 days from your check in date. However, if you add trip cancellation insurance to your booking be aware that the cost of the insurance is not refundable if you cancel.

I believe they may only have the Bounceback flyers at certain resorts. That was our experience in 2006.

We used to always stay at POR, well we decided to splurge for our Nov 2006 trip and stayed at Poly. We came home to find that they had the Bounceback flyers at POR but not Poly. So, I spent THOUSANDS more on our trip and didn't get the offer .

We ended up buying into DVC so no more bounceback offers for us now.

Actually, we were at SSR this past weekend and there was a BB flyer in our room. Asked a CM about it, and even though we were staying on points we were eligible for the BB offer. It was a really good deal, too!

Last year we did not have a bouceback flier in our room but I knew the information from this board so I called. I did see the offer on one of the Disney TV stations a day or two later. So watch the TV! Or just look here first!

Sorry you did not get it. It is worth calling and complaining. Maybe they will let you do it.

Can you book the bounceback and then switch around the dates at a later time and still get the bounceback discount? Next years school calander isn't out yet

Actually I think the DVC member was stating that they would prefer to stay at DVC on points in the future than to purchase a package on bounceback. I feel the same way.

I was at ASMu from 8/21-8/29 and we got a bounceback offer in our resort. My DH was laughing at the the look on my face as I read it. I knew we couldn't afford another trip next year but a girl can dream right? Anyways..I just wanted you to know that values were getting bounceback offers
