Bounceback question

Hi there! We are planning on leaving for our trip in less than two weeks at POFQ and booking a bounce back offer for 2015. My mom would like to go as well- can I book an additional bounce back in her name for FQ??

You can book as many BB rooms as there are adults on your upcoming trip and list your mom as a guest in one of the rooms, but you can't book a room with your mom as lead guest if she isn't on the upcoming trip.

So I need to put my name on one reservation, then my husband and mom on another? And if she cancels can I add him back to ours?

Yes, if you book 2 rooms, put you as lead guest on one and your DH as lead guest on the other. You will need to pay two deposits, but at least you would have the extra room if you need it. If your mom cancels, you can cancel that room and add your DH to the other reservation .

If I make changes to these bouncebacks, does reservations cancel then rebook them? I'm worried about losing them. I was thinking about booking 1 room with my whole family then a second room with my name on it and my mom's. But if she does decide to go with us, I'll change the reservations to 3 of us in one room and put my daughter in her room and take my husband off. Does this mean they cancel all this and rebook? Don't we risk losing the reservations then?
Sorry if this post was confusing- I'm trying to understand this.

Disney will not allow you to be "double booked" or listed in two rooms at one time. As previously explained you need to book one room under your name and one room under your husband's name with your mom listed as a guest in either room and your kids in either room.

When you make changes to a BB offer, everything is subject to availability. That includes rooms and dates. So, changing things might mean a different resort and or dates from your original booking. The only way you will lose your reservation is by changing or taking yourself or your DH off the reservation for one of the rooms. Names can change on a reservation as many times as you want, but you have to be in one room and your DH in the other. I've read on the boards, that once you arrive at Disney you can change guests that are staying in a given room. I've never done this, so I can't say this is 100% true.
