FIRST, WELCOME TO THE BOARDS!

I'm a neighbor, it is a SMALL WORLD on the DIS!

There's MANY threads but in case you still have not located it, the bounceback promo's are offered to on-site guests at specified times that will offer you a "promo, usually a % off or free dining" IF you make deposit for upcoming trip (specfied by dates they give you) and it MUST be booked before you check out.
You usually find a "letter" in your folder left by "mousekeepers" OR they run ADS on the inhouse Disney TV station. We have been QUITE lucky and if you look below in our "visits" you'll see! IT IS FABULOUS!!

I assume you "heard" about "Free dining" coming rumor, allegedly to be offered next week for late August thru Sept, nothing confirmed yet, but it FIRST goes to Disney Visa Holders than to general public.

Thank you so much for responding! It looks like a great deal, hopefully I will get one and be able to take advantage of it. I have seen the free dining posts, but if it is for dates in aug or sept, i won't be able to go.

But, I could go in Oct or Nov, so maybe a bounceback will be in my future!

This is the info on the current Bounceback being offered to people who are staying at a WDW resort right now - note that this offer could be cancelled at any time.

Bounceback Discount Promotion

This offer is available ONLY to guests who are currently staying at one of the official Walt Disney World resorts, and could end at any time.

Using a special phone number provided on a flyer provided in some resort rooms, you can book a room for stays on selected 2008 dates at a Walt Disney World resort and receive a discount of 20% off rack rates at Value resorts; 30% off rack rates at Moderate and Deluxe resorts; or 40% off rack rates at DVC/Deluxe Villa resorts.
