Bounceback Promotions

Aloha.

I was wondering (if it's not rude to ask) how much the bounceback promotions are (percentage wise). Is it for example 30% off a regular rack rate, 40% and so on.

Secondly, I was wondering if anyone knows if there will be any bounceback promotions for 2009. Let's say if I were to travel in december 2008, is there a possibility that there would be a bounceback promotion for the next year?

From what I remember, there are different % discounts for differnt types of hotels. I think its 20% on values and mods, 30% on deluxes and 40% on villas.

I find that the discount for bounceback is always better than our AP discount. In fact, at WL I ended up with a Courtyard view bunk bed room for $248 for oct... with AP discounts the Woods view bunk bed room was $248. So it was basically two room categories higher, for the same price (if that makes sense).

We went in Dec 07 - and they had offers for 2008, so you may get lucky. Remember - if you dont see an offer in the room, you can ask at the front desk or do what I do - call the reservation line from the room phone and tell them you want to book a bounceback and you are at a resort now. Calling worked for me last time we were there (aug) and there wasn't an offer in the room.

Thank you very much for the answer! The only discount that we are usually guarenteed to get is the AAA, and it's 10% during regular season and 15% during value, so 30% is a way better deal than that.
