Bounceback offers? How does it work. Please help need fast answers to book :)

Looking at a last minute trip at Easter, I know crowded and expensive but we were thinking since we were planing on going to Disney in August anyway maybe we can make a short quicker trip in at Eastertime to enjoy different things that we "normally" dont do.So my question is IF we go say Apr 4-9 and stay at a moderate property,can we book the Wilderness Lodge in Aug 2010 using some sort of bounceback rate.Can you stay at a moderate but book a deluxe on the bounceback rate. Does Disney always offer a bounceback rate? I remember seeing the flyer last year when we were at WL but it was only good for return trip up until Dec some time. We are really interested in going Easter since we are all off,parents and kids, and can enjoy the weather for a change. I dont mimd paying extra at this time of year to stay at Disney if we can save maybe later on in the year.

You can book a different level resort with a bounceback. If you don't see the card in your room, just call the bounceback number and ask what they currently have. I'd tell you that number if I could remember it! It is somewhere here on the boards. Just do a search of the threads here at the Codes & Rates.

Not sure when in August you are planning to go, but if it is later in the month I would bet the bounceback would be for free dining.

IF you go April 4-9 and IF the reported current BB is still going on then, you will be able to book a BB for these dates:

Get 40% off a Select Disney DELUXE Resort: 1/3-1/14, 1/18-2/11, 2/15-3/27, 4/11-7/1, 7/5-11/23, 11/28-12/24/2010

Get 45% off a Select Disney DELUXE VILLA Resort: 1/3-1/14, 1/18-2/11, 2/15-3/27, 4/11-7/1, 7/5-9/30/2010 (Offer excludes 3 bedroom grand villas)

The offer noted just above is the offer that was in my room earlier this month. Not, free dining. Free dining was being offered as a bounceback in Sept. and Oct. of last year.

FYI: the Grand Gathering folks also do the bouncebacks. I found this out the other day when I wanted to modify my BB and when I finally got to a CM he said "Let me transfer you to GG so they can help you with that". That was nice to know since I called again a few days later and was able to get through much quicker by following the prompt for "8 or more people" . You can probably also call them for info on upcoming offers even if you have to wait to book until you are on property.

Thanks for posting. I currently have the 30% off PIN for Mods but the bounceback is another 5%!! and we have 2 rooms. We are there the end of next week so I will post when returning on whether or not it's still there and the same!
