I was at POFQ 11/28 thru 12/5. I begged, pleaded, whined, cried, did everything but hold the front desk hostage to get someone to help me book my next stay in Sept. On our LAST day someone finally learned that the cruise line desk was the place to do it. With an hour to go before our Magical Express we rushed over there ready to plunk down cash for the entire stay right then. All we found was a sign reading the desk had closed about 30 min earlier and no one around. I broke down sobbing in frustration. Maybe a phone call is in order? What more can they do but say no yet again? I'll let you know what I learn.

If this is true and they end up not having any public free dining offers for August-September, the parks and eateries are going to be even less crowded than they were this year!

had anyone been able to get this after they left disney? I was there in Nov and did not hear of this, would have definatley taken advantage as I am returning in Aug... the real annoying part is I was originally staying POR but was switched to CRB for the Disney Visa package

So if you have had success in getting this after returning home, please let me know ...THANKS!!

They were very sorry they couldn't help me but no, you absolutely CAN NOT book this special after midnight on your check out date. Doesn't matter that you tried every way you knew to book it while you were there and that it was THEIR fault you weren't able to book it. No way, no how. They WILL NOT BOOK IT AFTER YOU LEAVE. End of story. Sorry guys.

Shugardrawers is correct, they will not give you the offer after you leave. I tried! I too was pretty upset because we usually stay at POR and had booked there but decided to splurge and spend 2x the money by staying at the Poly. I sent emails to no avail. I did receive a generic vague reply (3 wks after my email) telling me "they offered the Bounce Back special to random guests staying at specific resorts". There was more yada, yada, blah, blah but the bottom line is you are SOL if you didn't happen by chance to get the deal while you were there.

My only consolation is we've bought into DVC now and we're going in June rather than Sept. Even knowing that it still steams me when I think about how I missed out on the offer.

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in December and when we checked in the CM said she hadn't heard of the promotion.

While having dinner at the Beach Club we saw a desk with a sign that said "Ask me how to save on your next vacation" and it wasn't a DVC desk. We talked to the CM and that's where we booked our September 07 free dining vacation.

I was at an actual test resort PO-R and there was very little promotion of this offer whatsoever. I only knew about it because of the DIS. The cruise desk had a very small sign that said "Save money on your next Disney vacation" or something to that extent. I went to the desk the morning of my last day to book my free dining and the cruise rep told me the woman who is dealing with that is not coming in until 2 today (I was leaving at 10). She told me just to call 407-W-DISNEY and they could do the same thing anyone in the hotel lobby could do. Sure enough she was right, I called and had the ressie faster than my usual ressies.

I also called CRO while we were at the WL to see the Christmas decorations. I asked a couple of CM's at the desk in the lobby at WL if they could book it for me, and they said no, but they wanted me to tell them the details. They had heard rumors but didn't know dates or anything.

I called CRO from my cell phone and the first CM I spoke to transferred me to the dept. doing the bounceback program. The only problem I had was that I kept losing service but the CM would just call me back and I eventually ended up with 3 rooms at WL in Sept.

We were staying at CBR and I wouldn't have known about this program if I hadn't read about it here on the DIS.
