Bounceback Offer back!

Just returned from WDW. Spent 3 nights at CSR before going to visit my folks in Ft. L and then 4 nights at CBR at the end. There was nothing in the CSR room re: bounceback offers and nothing at the CBR. Decided to call and inquire about bouncebacks a day before leaving CBR and learned that they had recently been released but that flyers had not yet been printed. I am so glad I called but also voiced concern that other guests would be missing out on the offer, since no material was available to them in the resort rooms. Anyway, here are the dates I were given... 1/31-2/5, 2/13-2/19, 2/27-3/5, 5/8-5/27, 5/31-6/4, 8/21-10/8, 10/23-10/29, 11/13-11/19, 11/27-12/3, and 12/11-12/17. The discount is 40% off deluxes and 35% off mods. I am sorry that I missed what the bb discount was at the values. Please be aware that I did not see any printed material on the bounceback offer. This was just information provided to me over the phone. I did end up booking the bounceback offer for our stay in Nov, and I did get the 40% discount. For anyone planning trips to Disney in the near future, call your front desk and then Disney reservations while there to inquire about the offer, if there is no printed offer in the room. They will request your reservation # and confirm that you are a present guest and then you should be able to also take advantage of the BB. Good luck! I was so happy to get part of my Nov-Dec trip covered!

I am going to be staying at a value on Feb 25 for just 3 nights and then we are doing a family trip in November for 6 nights, staying at Poly. I sure hope I'll be able to get one and use it! I'll definately ask when I'm there the end of Feb. Thanks for the heads up!

Ok, I got all excited at first but now I have questions since I'm not entirely sure what a "bounceback" even is. lol Like I said in my previous post, we've never been to WDW before. I mean, I assume you need to book a trip in the same year right? And is there a code on the flyer thing or how do you actually do it? I'll be at WDW from FEb 25-28 and then coming back NOv 16-22 ish and I already have a pkg booked with those Nov. dates. If I do get a bounceback, I'm guessing I would need to alter my dates some or maybe it will just be a percentage off the dates that do fall into the eligible dates? um?? no worries...its still a long time away and I'll just get there at the end of this month and see what happens and if I even get one before I jump the gun. lol

A Bounceback offer is a room only promotion only good for guests staying onsite at WDW Resorts and it needs to be reserved before you check-out, so once you are gone the offer then expires for you. Now somewhere in your room should be a flyer or some type of paper with the various months listed that also says or highlights what days you can get this specifc rate, along with the promotion code you need to say when calling to make this specific reservation. Now since you already have a package reservation reserved when switching to a Bounceback rate you need to cancel the package, because both are on a different reservation system and you can't just switch your dates, resort choice, room category and etc.

Once you have already booked a Bounceback reservation and later on decided to try another resort you could call WDW and ask to see if it's available on that discount and within your dates. So even though you wouldn't be at WDW since that's when this type of reservation can only be reserved, because you already had a Bounceback reservation confirmed you can try and switch later on. Think of it like trying to switch resorts with Free Dining after the booking date expired. Even though others couldn't make a brand new reservation for it you can try to modify a current reservation already reserved, assuming the resort you want to stay at is available with that promotion.

Note the same dates, prices, etc. which makes me wonder if they are going to come out with a general public offer soon that will match the BB the OP posted, like they did when the last BB turned out to be the same offer that was open to all

Don't mean to be a downer, but I think these dates are for 2011, not 2012. These are the same dates & rates as the PIN codes that have been out since the beginning of Jan. I recieved mine in the mail on Jan 3rd. So it would be a bounceback for a second trip this year.

I could be wrong, of course. Please come back after your trip & let us know if it goes into 2012. Might help a few others!

We were in Disney last September, the bb was the same as the pin that I had received the week before we got there.

I received a pin in January for 40% deluxe and deluxe villas, 35% moderate and value!!!! WOOHOO!!!

I can also confirm that the bounceback offer is back! I took a chance and tried to call the number (there was no flyer in the room) - and, sure enough, I got it!! Same dates and rates as the PIN that is going around right now (that I didn't get!!) Anyway, I'm happy! There appears to be a dedicated line now, because they answered with something like "thanks for calling about the special offer".

If you checked in on the tail end of one of the time periods, say Nov. 19 - will you get the offer on dates not listed or is it strictly the dates listed no matter when you check in?
